Ella Frank is such a good writer. I have enjoyed her books immensely. I hope she keeps writing.

Really Good!

Great conclusion to GQ and Jameson's story. There wasn't any angst, just these two men really getting to know each other and fall in love as Jameson let his walls down and let Ryan in. It was sweet, had some great emotion, and put a huge smile on my face with the fabulous HEA! I loved seeing some of our favs from the Chicagoverse again too! Nick J. Russo did a really good job bringing their love story to life!

Wonderful Ending

This was a great ending to this duology insofar as the story goes, but felt it really was unnecessary to put in a separate book. I love me some Nick J. Russo and I have many, many audiobooks of his, but it really bums me out when there is a narrator change from one book to the next. Regardless, the audiobook was great and I encourage buying it as you will enjoy it.

Sweet and spicy!!!

I've loved Ryan since he was introduced in Xander's and Sean's story. His bright personality begged for a HEA. This love story was just perfect all the way around. The grump who meets a little sunshine... and it's a winner! Thank you, Ella.

Ella Frank has come through again! I love the way she write her dialogue between MC’s. It is like you are there listening in on a real conversation! Don’t miss these two books!!!

Good story. Good narration.

Some of the issues that I didn't like in the first book were resolved in this, second book. I recommend reading/listening to the first two Chicago Heat books like they are one very long book.

There are a few very emotional moments that tugged at me, so I definitely felt some connection to the characters. I would like to see Ryan's character developed a bit more. The romance between Jameson and Ryan had all the requisite sweet and steamy moments. The social commentary was insightful. I still have a few questions about the end of this book, but I suspect that the next duet might answer some questions.

Overall an entertaining romance read with good narration. Nick J. Russo seemed like a much better fit for this series than the previous narrator.

There was no wicked claim in this story

Awesome plot twist did not exist . There was no climax to the story . There were several places in the book where one could have been put in.. All of the contents that was in this storyCould have been put in the 1st book.. At the end of the story the only thing I felt was that the author has become greedy . She was 1 of my favorite authors.. Now I think I'm going to choose to not follow her on on kindle anymore

The narrator's cadence is like nails on a chalk board. I had to up the speed just to get to chapter 3. I'm not going to make it to chapter 4. Sad. I'm a fan of the author. Buying this audiobook was an automatic must.
*sigh* This is one I'll have to read myself to get a true feel for the book.
