Publisher's Summary

Rachel Hart and I are nothing more than teammates. As mercenaries for hire with the elite Jameson Group, we have each other’s backs in the most dangerous of circumstances. But after a mission gone deadly wrong, we do something we’ve never done before. We cross the professional line and take comfort in one another’s arms.

One night of passion turns our lives upside down with a pregnancy neither of us expected, and one that Rachel clearly never wanted. But I am a family man through and through, and I’m determined to raise my child, with or without Rachel by my side.

The only common thread Rachel and I have is our membership at The Wicked Horse, a sex club that lets us fulfill our dirtiest fantasies with one another. As we become more intimately entwined, I find myself falling for Rachel more and more. Our wicked nights together make us so much more than teammates. And when faced with losing everything, I have to hope that Rachel realizes the most difficult choices are actually the easiest ones to make.

Emphasis on the Romance

This entry into the series was much more of a traditional romance than any of the other Wicked Horse books. The last book had an emphasis on the sexy and this book had an emphasis on the sweet. There was very little Wicked Horse action in this book and the relationship between Bodie and Rachel was monogamous from the get-go. Bodie was such a sweet man and Rachel was the one with the commitment issues, which made for a fun bit of gender reversal. There was a point in the final act where I thought things were going to go a certain way and I was all set to get irritated but it resolved itself very quickly. I love when the protagonists in my romance novels have the ability to act like adults and use their words.

Wicked Hot!

I am loving the Wicked Vega series. Bodie and Rachel are trained mercenaries, who fight hard, and along with their crew, they play hard at the Wicked Horse. After an unexpected night together, Bodie and Rachel see one another in a new light. When their world is turned upside down with an unexpected event, can their work relationship and friendship ever be the same? I really enjoyed this surprise twist. On the battlefield, Bodie and Rachel two of the best in the Jameson Group. But away from the fighting, they get a chance to really see each other on a deeper level, witnessing a vulnerability they hadn’t expected. Great story. Lance and Kirsten do a wonderful job w/the narration. Lance is one of my favorites!

Smoking Hot

This is the fourth book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and it was smoking hot, deliciously naughty and romantic; I loved it. This is Bodie Wright and Rachel Hart story. They both work for the Jameson Group doing highly elite security work.

But what happens when Rachel turns to Bodie for comfort? The chemistry and passion between Bodie and Rachel is electrifying and their passionate one night leads to complications neither of them expected.

Wicked choice has all the passion and fire that we have come to expect from this series as well as soul deep emotions that really force Rachel and Bodie to look deep into themselves to seek their own truths.

We also caught have with some familiar characters which is always a good thing and one of the things I enjoy about Ms. Bennett’s books is that she never forgets those characters whose stories have already been told.

This book was well written and exciting to read, emotional and at times stressful as Bodie and Rachel fought their emotions.

I really loved these characters and was intrigued as Sawyer Bennett delved into their characters.  Hot, raunchy and sexy; Wicked Choice has it all. I was glued to the pages from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end. I cannot wait to read more in this exciting series.

Doesn't stack up to the first few books

Bennett is a fantastic writer, but I don't want a personal opinion pushed at me through stories. It makes me so uncomfortable to read parts where women who choose not to continue a pregnancy are demonised.
It's bothered me in a couple of Bennett's other books but it's obviously a stronger theme in a book with a pregnant character.
Side note - a happy ending is different for different people. Not every book has to finish with marriage and/or babies. Obviously that is happy for many, but a little variety would've been nice. I won't be continuing the series as they're getting less creative and interesting.
