Great narration, great book.

Narrator was the most pleasant and clear that I've ever heard. Great arguments all throughout.

Compelling

The author is a gifted writer and I thoroughly enjoyed his argument even where I myself held different opinions/viewpoints.

Easy read and highly informative...

Robinson does a great job at articulating ideas of left and justifying them. Many are already on the left, they just don't know it and have never had an easy way to define their ideology. This book helps with that.

Are you an angry incel conservative who wears bowties at parties and tweets angrily about the decadence of society when the Superbowl half time show is playing, then read this book because you're basically just wrong about everything, and maybe reading this amazing work will change your mind.

Very Good

Nathan is very well spoken and delivers a seriously moving message about Socialism’s place in American politics. Even people who don’t subscribe to Nathan’s views would love this book.

Fantastic Book

Great performance and great, accessible material. I appreciate how comprehensive the content is and how it addresses criticism head on, in good faith.

Not very convincing

The audio book is well read and entertaining but I was looking for a book that would convince me to change my mind with facts and examples to illustrate how socialism could work. This book was more an idealistic appeal to the readers emotions. Worth the time to hear the perspective from the other side.

most approachable book on socialism

This was such a great read. Books like these can sometimes feel a little condescending and can go over my head sometimes. Nathan's style of writing and easy to understand concepts make this one of the most approachable books on socialism I've read. Gift this to anyone and everyone

A great introduction to understanding socialism

This book does a great job setting up a foundational understanding of the goals and values of socialists broadly speaking. Many of the common base level arguments against socialism are addressed at length while maintaining a humorous tone. There is a long list of resources at the end of the book for those wanting to learn more about the broad socialist traditions in both a historical and modern context.
