Absolutely captivating in content and reading voice! Listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson reading his own book is perfection.

Neil is fun but gets a little full of himself

I found the insights on the growth of technology excellent and thought provoking. His social commentary, on the other side, tended to be overly woke.

I loved this book. It captured humanity in such an accurate and scientific way.

Amazing perspective for all of us

What an amazing book! I love the different perspective on so many things in our lives. Neil gave an objective view so the listener could make their own judgement. I look at things differently now by trying to remove my personal belief and try to see things for how they really are. I think everyone can benefit from this book if they're looking to expand their perspective.

The book is insightful and grounding. Tyson is able explore current events and topics objectively, zooming in and out to glean insight. Particularly helpful for getting tribal fears in check, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. I also find his voice pleasant, which is oddly as important to me as the title itself when choosing an audiobook.

Perspective

A really love listening to Dr. Tyson. He provokes thoughtfulness and promotes critical thinking. Enjoyed the book tremendously.

Hopeful and interesting.

For an educated and thoughtful person, life can seem hopeless because it will always end in death. But Neil deGrasse Tyson gives great insight and perspective, using facts from astronomy and math, to convince me that this all might just be important.
