Highly recommended!

The author's writing style is engaging and easy-to-understand. It was hard for me to put this book down. This is not a book of lists or reviews. There are other good books that cover every distillery and most of their major products. This is not that. This book is a survey course on whiskey if you will. Highly recommended!

Great

This is an engaging and interesting look at whiskey. The basics are nicely covered and it includes compatibility guides, suggested pairings and recipes. I wish the tasting recommendations included alternatives to the more obscure and expensive suggestions.

Highly recommended!

I got many valuable insights on what shapes the flavors of Scotch, Bourbon, Tennessee, Irish, Canadian and Japanese whiskeys, and came away with an appreciation for all of them. Highly recommended!

Good start

This is a pretty fun book, as is any about whiskey. It is a very good looking book thanks to the extra copper color bits on the cover.

Five Stars

One of the best, if not THE BEST book on Whiskey I have ever listen. It really is a treat to buy, whether you are a beginner or an aficionado. I would suggest coupling the listening of this book with a glass of your favorite Whisky, it just seems to go together so well...

Great book

Hands down best whisky book on the market. I have purchased at least 7 of these almost all of them were gifts and they were received very well. Clear concise and not snobby or elitist. Very easy to comprehend and enjoyable

Amazing Book

Just like all things new, having someone who has been there and done that and passes on what they have learned makes this book an excellent place to start. Author is a gifted writer and deserves to be heard.
