Highly recommended!

The author's writing style is engaging and easy-to-understand. It was hard for me to put this book down. This is not a book of lists or reviews. There are other good books that cover every distillery and most of their major products. This is not that. This book is a survey course on whiskey if you will. Highly recommended!

Great

This is an engaging and interesting look at whiskey. The basics are nicely covered and it includes compatibility guides, suggested pairings and recipes. I wish the tasting recommendations included alternatives to the more obscure and expensive suggestions.

Informative and easy to take in, great book. I have recommend this book to friends and people I meet who have an interest in bourbon or whiskey.

Good start

This is a pretty fun book, as is any about whiskey. It is a very good looking book thanks to the extra copper color bits on the cover.

So many repeats

This book repeats the exact same information over and over again and is poorly organized.

I found this book informative but it was hard to follow. there are far to many words missing and mispronounced. for instance the words a, an and the are missing in most parts of the book...enjoyment is shortened to enjoy and other sentences are read out of order...

Great book

Great book! Way nicer and detailed than expected. Can't wait to listen through it! Good information, nice reference material.

Better than i expected

It is exactly as described but I was worried at first that maybe the book wouldn't have much information to listen on, my dad is an avid listener and loves listening on stuff like this but the book is actually pretty thick. Excited to give it to him as a gift

Delicious tome.

Many books about Wine or Spirits fall short in either research or style. This book hits the mark on both points. Clearly written by a truly intelligent yet humble man. Anyone who enjoys Scotch, Bourbon or a bit of the Irish should have this book in their library.
