Publisher's summary

From USA Today best-selling author Claudia Burgoa comes a best friend’s little sister, single dad romance featuring a hot doctor and his sweet little daughter.

I’ve been in love with Benedict Farrow since I was 14 years old.

He’s my older brother’s best friend.

One night we almost crossed that line.

One night I almost got everything I wanted.

Now he’s moved back to our small town—a hot single dad with a daughter.

But I have finally moved on. I have a boyfriend who I actually like.

I let Benedict go—Didn’t I?

Hot, arrogant, confident Dr. Benedict Farrow is out of my life.

At least, I think he is.

But when he makes me laugh, I wonder if I ever got over him.

There’s no one who knows me better than him.

How can someone I loved so much cause me so much pain now?

If we went there again, it would ruin everything.

Where We Belong is an angsty-filled story of forbidden love, second chances, and the healing power of family. This is a must-listen for fans of small-town romances and hot doctors with a heart of gold.

Amazing story with beautiful narration

Claudia is the angsty, slow burn queen and she does it again with Where We Belong. Benedict does not give up. He is strong, determined and doesn’t back down from a challenge…especially his biggest one - Cory. Cory is sassy, determined, stubborn and strong headed but that’s what makes her an amazing character. She stands up for herself and knows what she wants. Both Cory and Benedict have some baggage that’s keeping them from fulfilling their dreams…but they know they want one another and need to communicate, get all the grievances out and move on. The banter and dialogue between there two is fantastic…your emotions will be all over the place and you will be cheering for their HEA. Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright gave phenomenal performances. They gave the characters perfect emotion, personality and voice. I love audiobooks and how narrators give readers/listeners a whole new experience to enjoy an authors story.

FINALLY Cory and Ben get their HEA!

Ben has been in love (secretly) with Cordelia for a long time, but being best friends with her brother and having several threaten him, he never thought they could be together. Still, in the last few years, his life has changed, and with Cory's help, he was navigating the waters as best as he could until one day, she decided to cut him out of her life, and that is when he began to realize he didn't want a life without her in it.

Cory has been harboring a crush on Ben since she was a teenager, but no more; no matter what, she's going to rinse that man right out of her hair...if it was only that easy. This is a SLOW BURN because Benedict has some significant groveling to do before Cory lets her heart open to him again.

Claudia did a fantastic job of bringing this series to a close. I am so glad that Ben and Cory have finally gotten their HEA, and Bernie has someone in her life as a mother figure who truly loves her how a mother should.

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook version of this book, and I have to say that Jason Clarke & Mackenzie Cartwright did a fabulous job bringing Ben and Cory to life. If you can listen to audiobooks, I highly recommend choosing this one.

I recommend this book to readers who enjoy New Adult Contemporary Romances, Slow Burn Romances, Small Town Romances, Billionaire Romances, Best Friends Little Sister or Single Dad Romances.

Happy Reading!!!

Loved Cory and Ben!

Oh, my heart! Where We Belong by Claudia Burgoa was an angsty and heartfelt single dad romance that had me feeling all the feels and soul-satisfying chills. This is the final book in Claudia’s Paradise Bay Billionaires series, and I have been eagerly awaiting Cory’s romance! Her journey with Benedict to HEA is full of emotional twists and swoony turns.

Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke narrate this audiobook, and I loved this pairing for Cory and Benedict! Mackenzie’s performance emphasized Cory’s reluctance, vulnerability, and desire to let love in again and fully give her heart to Benedict. Jason turned on the charm in his portrayal of Benedict, embodying his determined and swoon-worthy persona perfectly. Plus, Jason’s delivery of an intense and heated conversation in Chapter 19 had me in awe! Not to mention, both narrators were spot on conveying the slow-burning steamy tension between Cory and Benedict.

Overall, I LOVED this book! If you are a fan of a single dad romance with a hot hunky doctor, a guarded reluctant heroine, the small town of Paradise Bay, forbidden love, second chances, witty text messages, rooftop dinner dates, hotel dreams, an adorable daughter, confiding in family, slow burn steamy times, and a HEA that belongs in your heart, then you will love Cory and Benedict’s story. I always look forward to more from Claudia Burgoa.

Paradise Bay Finale

🅰🆄🅳🅸🅾🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆

Loved finally getting Benny's book after his appearance from the very first book. He's been q prominent character I'm two series and dare I say a fan fave!
Cory had been in love with Benedict all her life and just when she thought maybe something was there he dropped a bomb on her when he tells her he just had a baby girl with another woman.
Crushed and heartbroken, she still stayed in Paradise Bay to help him with his baby girl until it became evident she didn't fit in his life the way she wanted.

This book has angst, wrong timing, unrequited love and a fabulous HEA!!

Narration by Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright. Who doesn't love this powerful narration combo??they elevated this audio and did justice to both characters!!

a great audiobook!

The Paradise Bay series has been one of my favorites from Claudia Burgoa, and Where We Belong is an excellent addition to the series.

I, along with many other readers, was excited to see this book is finally Ben and Cory's story! Their relationship is definitely complicated. She is his friend's sister and there is plenty of baggage and unrequited feelings they have to work through. They had a falling out of sorts, but the chemistry and connection between them is still strong. Their romance/ relationship development is emotional with some tough moments, but you can see they were meant to be and couldn't wait for the HEA. This book is one of my favorites in the series, and a great read in both ebook and audiobook. I enjoyed picking it up in both formats. The narrators were well cast and especially liked Jason Clarke as Ben.

Emotional Journey 💕

I have loved all of the Paradise Bay books and have followed the backstory of Ben and Cory from book 1. I was so excited that we were finally getting their story and Claudia did an amazing job. This book was everything I hoped for and more. Claudia took us on an emotional journey throughout this book where at times it was heartbreaking and others endearing. I was captivated from the beginning all the way to the end.

Ben is Heath's best friend and pretty much has been part of the family for many years. Cory is Heath's younger sister and from the day Ben laid eyes on her he was done for. However, due to certain issues Ben never acted on his feelings but kept Cory at a
safe distance, in the friend zone. After having an epiphany, Ben realizes his mistakes with Cory over the years but is it to late to salvage their relationship? Can he convince her of his true feelings and that her heart is safe with him?

The narrators, Jason Clarke and MacKenzie Cartwright, did an amazing job bringing the characters and their story to life. They made you feel the emotions through the storyline. You felt the chemistry between Ben and Cory. This book made you believe in not giving up on love. Also, try to be honest with your feelings because you don't want to live with regrets. After everything Ben and Cory have been through, despite hiding their feelings from each other for so many years, they deserve a happy ending. I highly recommend reading or listening to this book!!!

Loved everything about this one

I love my visits to Paradise Bay and I was very excited when I heard we were getting Benedict Farrow and Cory’s story and all I need to say is Where We Belong was every I expected and so much more. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, it’s heartbreaking at times but it’s also heartwarming and I was captivated from the first line to the last word. Ben and Cory have known each other for years because he is her brother Heath’s best friend, he has become one of the family and that causes plenty of heartbreak for this couple as they secretly love each other. Cory has decided it’s time to move on and that means walking away from Ben who is now a single parent to an adorable little girl. So will Cory come home when Ben asks her and more importantly can he convince her he is ready to go public with his feelings…… Jason Clarke and MacKenzie Cartwright did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with the emotions, the banter and the chemistry that sizzles through this book. This book touched me on so many levels and for me this is the best read/listen in the series. I swooned, I smiled, I giggled and I held my breath as I found myself hoping this couple got the HEA they so deserved.

Cory and Ben

I can listen to the deep, sultry voice of Jason Clarke all day. He puts so much emotion and conviction to his narration. Maxime Mitchell was wonderful as Cory. Cory was finally ready to move on with her life. She has waited for years hoping Ben would finally want her. She was done having her heart broken. Her leaving and having no contact with Ben or Bernie affects them both. Listen to this last book in the Paradise Bay series.

Wonderful Friends to Lovers Story

I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance narrated wonderfully by Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke. I felt they did a fantastic job with all the characters and bringing the perfect amount of emotions to the story.

These two have had a thing for each other for so very long. But Ben was warned away from Cory by his best friend/her brother. Ever since then, he has kept that wall up in regards to her. Cory obviously had no idea her brother did this but she has still secretly loved Ben all these years. She has been there for him and his daughter until one day Ben makes it clear she isn’t Bernie’s mother and that shattered Cory’s heart.

So she did her best to move on and put as much distance between them as she could. Sadly this hurt Bernie just as much as it did everyone else. Finally Ben gets the backbone to let his best friend know that Cory is it for him and he won’t stop until she is his. Because together is where they belong…as a true family.

Loved it

Oh, my stars, Claudia Burgoa what have you done? I have another new book boyfriend in Benedict, aka Ben Farrow. What a compassionate, generous, caring, protective, totally swoon worthy man and one I fell for hard and fast
From the first chapter I was captivated in the story that Ms. Burgoa wove. Yiu cannot help but fall for this couple and the adorable little girl, Bernie, who stole the book when she called Cordelia aka Cory Spearman, mama.
I have loved every book in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series, and I was excited to read Where We Belong. I feel like I have been waiting to read this book for a long time. I had no idea of the roller coaster and emotional read that this one would be.
I loved this friends to lovers story and it ticked all the boxes for me. This was a well written, emotional, heartwarming story which I drew me in and held me captive from the first paragraph to the last. .
Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright did a fabulous job with their narration. They brought the story to life for me and their narration expressed all the uncertainty, pain, fear, passion and love that the characters went through as the story progressed. They did justice to the story that Ms. Burgoa wove.
