I went from listening in the car to and from work, to listening to the rest of the story on my day off. Such a beautiful story.

The queer Bridgerton

This book was so fun! This is exactly the kind of queer representation we need. It’s honest and emotional, but also exciting and romantic!
The fact that Hayley wrote this book inspired by her relationship with her Fiancé, Becca, makes it extra juicy.
The audiobook is well done, great entertainment.

Beautiful Sapphic Representation

As always with Hayley’s work, beautifully written, a story that grips every listeners heart but in the end leaves you with a warm and happy feeling of love and joy.

Such an amazing book. It made me laugh, made me teary eyed, and just so happy. I'm so glad we have Hayley Kiyoko to give us stories like this, letting us all feel seen and heard. I cannot wait for this to become a movie at some point.

Disappointed in writing quality

I love Hayley and her music, and LOVED her book Girls Like Girls. I re-listen to her first book at least once a year. Girls Like Girls is deep, moving, profound and well written. I liked a lot of the concepts of this book, but the writing quality and plot were lacking. Lots of parts were cheesy instead of authentic, and the ending felt abrupt and anticlimactic.
