Amazing story and narration!!

Literally such a good read and the narrator made it all the more enjoyable with her emotional performance. It truly makes a difference unlike the robotic book narrations out there. Thank you to the author and everyone involved in making this book happen!!!

Amazing!

It was absolutely magnificent. I loved how much it felt like a fantasy of a regular person meets royalty fantasy come true yet real in the problems they had to face and overcome! I loved it a lot. The voice actresses did incredible work! Thank you!

Royally good book

This is one of my favorite books of this year. This was a very well written book. The flow of the book was good. I am glad Sophie Gonzales did not give up on this book in getting it to us.

Such a fun Story

I loved everything about this book. The build up to the romance. The continuous roller coaster of story. It didn’t do the whole build up to romance, the couple is happy, something major happens, in the last second they get back together and everything is perfect. Each character, even minor characters, go through a whole developed story and each one feels fleshed out. I loved the characters. I loved the development. I loved the fact that I couldn’t tell where in the story we were. Just when I thought we were in the climax of the story, I was way off. Great storytelling!

Absolutely delightful

I love me a good coming out, coming of age love story. This one was no exception. The author’s note indicated that this book has been simmer for A WHILE and it took some time to find the “right time” to drop it on the public. It’s wild to me that it took so long for this book to get picked up.

Both narrators did a WONDERFUL job. No complaints or concerns whatsoever. In fact, major kudos to Imani Jade Powers for keeping in the very human sniffle during a moment when Rose was spinning out of control.

This book was narrated by HUMANS. Telling a HUMAN STORY. With actual and real HUMAN EMOTIONS.

If you’re looking for a delightful coming of age/coming out, queer love story, look no further. Get this book, you won’t regret it.

This was the best YA sapphic story I have ever read, the plot twists were worth the wait, and the character dynamics were top notch! 10/10

so many incredible characters!! I wasn't immediately drawn to the voices, but by the end I was in LOVE. such a great story, with such good voices. great work to all involved

A Charming Story of Queer Love

This was a fun and charming story about the rewards of following your heart and the challenges of confronting very heavy expectations and fears (both your own and others). There were times when the chemistry between Danni and Rose could have been more developed and sometimes the plot felt farfetched. However, the story had a lot of layers and twists and the momentum really built towards the ending. The performances were great and the overall listening experience was very enjoyable!

BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY

My god, this was an incredible read. I cannot recommend this enough. I would kill for a continuation to this; it is that good.
I will be honest, I bought it on a whim because it was recommended on my Amazon account, and I always like royal romcoms that are typically released on tv. So I said, what the heck, something to listen to while I drive. What I was not expecting was the level of depth that was woven into this story. I fell in love with Princess Rose and Danni and their love story. I want to talk about them and their friends, but I don’t want to give anything away. It is worth going through it as you read.
I started this book early in the evening yesterday and could not stop. So here I am at 4 in the morning writing my first review ever for a book. The story and the voice actors for Danni and Rose do such an incredible job of pulling you in, so much so that I had to listen to it in its entirety because every time I thought I was done, it kept pulling me back in. I was sad at the end because it meant leaving these wonderful worlds and characters. I want to see more of them.
