I can't help wondering if we're capable of an ending happier than Romeo and Juliet's. He's living in a dream world while my feet are planted firmly on the ground, and I can't risk my heart again on a guy who'll bail when the going gets rough.

Even if he does rescue me from a murderous juggling clown.

Great story about ordinary people’s struggles with love

Ordinary, maybe not but close. A woman works in a man’s world and a man who is a starving actor working at a local bar to pay bills. It took the book, a wedding with a missed opportunity because of work and Steve a work friend helping her to learn to talk to others, they come together and find love. Lots of emotions and cheers. The book ends wonderfully with a second book I hope to read at some point. Enjoyed on kindle and audible.
