Thouria I loved it. It's a delightful story of growth and change. I'm wondering if your dad hadn't declined the marriage proposal at chapter 7, we might not have your autobiography to enjoy That mix up between Algeria and Nigeria at chapter 8 was hilarious😆 As soon as the accent changed, I knew you had landed in America at 22. Looking forward to more parts of your journey 🙏🏽

Overall Good, Short Read (Listen?)

The author captures her experiences quite well through dialogue; the generational motif ties the memories together nicely. Narration is excellent. On the other hand, the non-chronological presentation somewhat detracts from the flow (just a suggestion for future iterations). Overall, great to see representation of Arab women.
