In this book she describes the life she never thought she would live to see: from her first sight of her mother to her first time meeting her grown-up sister, her first trip to the dentist to her daughters' first day of school, her first taste of champagne to her first hangover, her first time behind the wheel to her first speeding ticket, and her first dance at a friend's wedding to her first thoughts about the possibility of a future relationship.

This book was wonderful. She shares what it was like for her, her daughters and mother. Learning to trust again and learning to love the goodness after such pain. Perspective

So lovely to hear about how the author persists and carries on. While she endured so much, she doesn’t allow the monsters to define her life.

Her first book was quite good but this one is...well, boring. Not everyone is an author. I have the utmost respect for her personally but to be fair to readers/listeners, I couldn't possibly recommend this book. I'm rooting for your continued success, Jaycee, and can't imagine the horrors you have survived and overcome. Bless you and all the best to you! You are still an amazing person.

Love it. Enjoy how positive. she is and dispite everything she been thrust she so happy and positive.

Told me everything I wanted to know after reading the first book.

Just as good as the first book! A lot of short stories and life lessons. She values the little things in life that many people don’t even bother acknowledging anymore.

Glad I read it

I’m very happy I read this book. After reading her first book, and listening to all the horrible things she went through, this book brought closure for me. It completed the story and made me feel happy about how she is living her life. The resilience is incredible. I hope she keeps writing about her life journey. And although she is not a trained narrator, hearing her own voice was great.
