Publisher's summary

A hilarious argument in favor of taking life a smidge less seriously

Popular humor writer Anna Lind Thomas had an epiphany after her essay about a humiliating fart went mega-viral: Everything’s funny...eventually. You’ll cry-laugh your way through the many grave offenses she’s endured, like:

  • Not getting credit for Lady Gaga’s career,
  • An epic financial crisis,
  • And exercising while her children dole out biting critiques about her dimpled thighs.

Anna’s wit, charm, and painful relatability will encourage you to remember that your most humiliating moment may be the best thing to ever happen to you - or at the very least, it’ll make for a really good story.

A must read/listen

I haven’t laughed out loud this much in a LONG time. This book will keep you laughing and also fill your soul at the same time. I feel like author could be my best friend. I will be gifting this book to all the ladies in my life. It’s good to laugh when things feel so heavy sometimes. I highly recommend.

Engaging and hilarious!

I've followed Anna Lind Thomas on Facebook for several years, and always enjoyed her humorous, insightful, and relatable posts. This book is all of that and more. I don't normally do audiobooks, but I'm glad I chose this one to listen during recovery from surgery when I wasn't sure I'd be able to physically turn pages or even tap my Kindle. Anna Lind's voice makes it extra personal and funny. Thank you for the out-loud laughs and many, many smiles and giggles.

Delightful

This was such an unexpected gem! The narration is pitch perfect, not always a given when authors read their own work but she pulls it off with a flourish. The stories are funny and real. Great beach read.

Roll down the windows!!

Haven’t laughed this hard while listening to a book in … well, ever. She’s also one of those rare authors that can narrate too. So much fun!

I laughed out loud at Anna’s first date. I was introspective at chapter 13. Overall, a good read.

Pleased I took a chance on this book.

I’ve never heard of this author before, but I’m going to look out for more books from her. I’m pleased she read it herself. Anna Lind Thomas had some points that I found pertinent to things I’m mulling over atm. I like her down-to-earth view of life. Must check out her blog/Facebook page as well.

Fun and funny!

Like hanging out with your funniest new friend, hearing all their best stories. A rare instance where the author narrating their own work is perfect. Loved it!
