Great Story

I have become such a fan of Robin James. Her plots are excellent and the narrator does a fantastic job also. Highly recommend and hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

Absolutely fabulous narrator.

This was an interesting and captivating book that’s hard to put down. Realistic and likable characters (barring the criminals, of course). The narrator really brought it to life!

Plot was intriguing. Narrator was excellent, as always. This one of my 2 favorites in the Mara Brent series.

Fantastic

This is a great book. I loved it so much that I am heading on to start the series at the beginning. Robin James writes fluidly and the narration is perfectly paced.

Great series keeps getting better!

This is a great book and it kept me listening and reading every chance I got! I had the kindle version on my kindle and listened to this version when I could. Robin James writes such entertaining stories! This series and her Cass Leary series are two of my favorites. I am waiting for the next one already!

Such a good book!

I really enjoyed this book and listened every chance I got. I apprecited the term "lectern" (used several times) rather than "podium," which people incorrectly use most the time. The story was intriguing and the narrator was amazing!

I really enjoyed this book from an author I wasn't familiar with. Now I must find the next book!

Good series, No Gratuitous Sex, Great Narrator

This series is self published by the author, her personal stats are excellent, law professor. So I guess from grading paper she does not think she needs to have a good editor. This series could’ve gone on much longer as it had so much potential with the characters. Unlike some of the reviewers, I liked the friction between our heroine and her ex husband. If you were thinking, the relationship between our young detective would grow, it did, but not in the romance mystery genre, extreme. So men could have like this series. However, author had way too much emotional upheaval within our heroine’s thought pattern, And men don’t wanna hear it as they live with it every day. Author left it open to add more books. I may write to her as I did to Bob Mayer and Jennifer Crusie and the rest is a new best seller series. I know fans do this to authors all the time, and every once in a while, an author will actually listen to their fan base.
