Acerca de esta escucha

After surviving countless assaults from the ruthless Children of Z, Vicki, Theo, and their young charges have carved out a fragile but stable existence.

All they yearn for now is a safe haven where they can provide a semblance of normalcy for the children they've come to love as their own. But in a world still fraught with danger, tranquility seems like a distant dream.

As Vicki and Theo strive to create a secure and nurturing environment for the girls, they must navigate new threats. Zombie hordes continue to plague their path, and the dangers of unwelcome visitors loom large. Every day brings new challenges as they teach the children vital survival skills, including the crucial lesson of avoiding strangers.

Amidst the turmoil, Vicki finds her heart slowly opening to Theo. As their shared experiences deepen, she begins to confront her fears and uncertainties about love and relationships. Learning to trust Theo not only as a partner in survival but also as someone she can rely on emotionally, Vicki starts to embrace a love she had long thought impossible.

Despite their struggles, Vicki's makeshift family grows, finding solace and strength in unity. But the shadow of the Children of Z still hovers ominously, reminding them that true safety remains elusive.

In We Don't Talk to Strangers, book two of Babysitter of the Apocalypse, Vicki and her family face the trials of building a new life amidst relentless chaos. With heart-pounding action and deep emotional stakes, this installment explores the enduring power of hope, love, and the unbreakable bonds that keep them fighting for a future they desperately crave.

I wasn’t sure about her in the last book but she’s really growing and redeeming herself. She’s growing on me for sure!

Good story! I do wish it had a bit more action but that’s the only thing.

Ahhh! The performer is still not my favorite, her voice is ugh. She’s not horrendous at least.

Vickie is growing!

Can’t wait for the next book! The first two were really good. The story flew ahead with great action as their family develops and the threat of people is more dangerous than the ever present threat of zombies.

Great Zompoc with strong characters who develop meaningful relationships.

I never had children, but I wanted at least one. I love the little munchkins, but I can sympathize with Vicky/Vickie in some of her circumstances. I can relate a little bit to her. I've enjoyed the journey she's on to learn and recognize what love is. I have to admit she has a lot more patience than I do, though. I'm too noise sensitive to screeching and hollering from children. Especially, in an apocalypse. Somehow, she and Theo make it work.

The author is good at building characters in her stories. Bet reminds me of my mom, Betty. They are both loveable and crazy.

I enjoyed the narrator's work in both books. She reads smoothly and has the right variation in pitch and emotion.

I'm really bummed that I have to wait for the next book to be written & released on Audible. I can't wait.
