Rose Mortiz has always been a fixer, but lately she's been feeling lost. She has brand-new powers that she doesn't understand, and her family is still trying to figure out how to function in the wake of her amnesiac father's return home. Then, on the night of her Death Day party, Rose discovers her father's memory loss has been a lie.

As she rushes to his side, the two are ambushed and pulled through a portal to the land of Adas, the fairy realm. There Rose is forced to work with a group of other powerful teens to save Adas. Soon, she begins to discover the scope of her powers, the troubling truth about her father's past, and the sacrifices he made to save her sisters. But if Rose wants to return home so that she can repair her broken family, she must figure out how to heal Adas first.

What about Nova

I was a little disappointed when the reader made Lulu and Alex sound the same. Overall I really enjoyed the series. I'm hoping for a book or story about Nova.

I didn't understand some parts

I was really lost at the time issue, who's time was faster Ada's or this world's? And it still has the same narration problems, plus I got lost in which character was which a couple of times.

The Brooklyn Brujas

Wow. What an “ending” to the trilogy. I truly hope that someone in Hollywood will make this into a series. The story was so well written and I felt transported between worlds as it went along. I could see every leaf, wing flutter and felt the magic.
Gracias Zoraida for a great trilogy.
