Great Book!

Excellent listen and just so happens it is set where I live. That added a different dynamic to my normal books.

Well Done!

I love the writing style of this series - realistic and just enough humor to keep this from being a depressing possibility. The narrator was good and easy to listen to as well.

Very entertaining!

One of the best trilogies I have listened to. The performance was spectacular! I never write reviews, this is my first. Might be predictable in places but one of the most informative books at what we might foresee if the light did go out.

Realistic, Practical Tips, Exceptional!!

That settles it🥳, AJ Newman is firmly invested in the short list of my favorite authors. Roger Wayne did a wonderful job narrating this SHTF/TEOTWAWKI story about the life of wounded warrior Jason Walker and his military trained dog MMax. From the war fields of Europe to a plane crash in the United States, every word and feeling is there. There's some profanity, which is pretty normal for soldiers, love stories without sex scenes, war, killing, mistakes made, solutions found and redemption of one deserving villain. Lots of practical prepper tips, women as warriors, great losses and huge wins. Realistic though set in the 2030s and exceptional writing! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A good twist on SHTF

A great book with a different twist that was easy to follow and that’s about all I am going to say about that!

So bad, had to give up.

Terrible story, jumps around way to much. Inconsistent character attributes. Absolutely horrible. The narrator was like trying to listen to a goofy cartoon character. Horrible.

impossibly simplistic.

almost no attempt at continuity with constant reexplaing things that had been explained several tines before. ludicrous ending.
