Publisher's Summary

In his 1998 book, The Threat, Jacobs uncovered disconcerting reports about aliens' plans for the future of Earth. He reported that a "change" is coming; a future when very human-like hybrids would intermingle with humans in everyday life. "Soon we will all be together," the aliens said. "Soon everyone will be happy and everyone will know his place."

This audiobook examines a chilling phenomenon that Jacobs began noticing in 2003. The alien integration action plan has kicked into high gear. The incidents of alien abductions have declined as occurrences of alien involvement in everyday life have accelerated. A silent and insidious invasion has begun. Alien hybrids have moved into your neighborhood and into your workplace. They have been trained by human abductees to "pass," to blend in to society, to appear as normal as your next door neighbor.

This audiobook illustrates in detail the process of alien integration into society and the strategy and support structure that has been developed to make this happen seamlessly. While he is not certain why they are doing it, the final chapter of the audiobook will provide some chilling possible answers as to why they are here and what they want to accomplish.

Jacobs is a careful researcher who has investigated more than 1150 abduction events experienced by more than 150 abductees. This audiobook focuses on the experiences of thirteen abductees.

Hybrids among us

The main thesis of this book is that aliens have been creating a race of hybrids by mixing their DNA with ours, or by altering our DNA in some other way, and that the hybrids have started living among us as a stage in a program that has complete domination of the Earth as its objective. The author has gathered the evidence for this program by interviewing numerous abductees. It's a fascinating form of speculation if you have any interest in the UFO/abductee phenomenon.

You have to have some patience getting through the first part of the book. For the first half, maybe more, the abductees tell how they teach hybrids to blend in to human society, giving them instructions on the most mundane things: how to peel an orange, choose clothes to wear, go through the check-out counter at the store, put groceries away, etc. At a certain point it almost becomes laughable. I would think: Am I really going to have to listen to the abductee tell how he taught a hybrid to peel an orange? Yep, you really do have to listen to all these instructions in mind-numbing detail.

In spite of the overabundance of detail in some regards, the book builds momentum and drew me in towards the last third, when the author starts drawing conclusions and speculating about the implications. That's the most interesting part. Stick with it or jump to the last hour and a half if you get tired of hearing about all the minutiae.

Ridicule has programmed us not to look . . .

. . . or think about UFOs or Aliens. This book is a wake up call, but unfortunately most people will stay in the comfort of their box.

There are billions of humans. Too many to control for now.

So, this book explains what is happening, and the methods.

This book explains how our planet - a desirable piece of real estate - is being taken by a method that is slow and methodical and shows every sign of being a standard method used previously. And, humans are just tools being used . . . for now.

You must already know about the subject

I highly recommend this book to everyone who has any interest in the field of UFOlogy or abductions. For those of us who are researchers and have already spoken to experiencers, this is a must read. For people with an open mind, you will find the subject highly provocative.

A Lot Better Than I Thought It Would Be

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The sub-title piqued my interest, and the book did not disappoint. The accounts of the 4 people whom alleged to have been abducted by extraterrestrial aliens tell a compelling story under hypnosis of their experiences with their abductors. If true, global society has a secret enemy that seeks to subvert it for its' own existence here on Earth.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but I didn't.

Any additional comments?

If this story is true as told, society has a problem with a secret invasion that cannot be stopped...by human efforts.

Would This Book Have Beeb Better If Narrated by David Jacobs?

I have heard and seen Dr. Jacobs tell of his grave concern of non-terrestrial beings and their program to take over our planet with a “look-a-like species.” Dr. Jacobs retired as a full professor from Temple university in 2011. While at Temple, he survived an in-depth investigation by a faculty team, which was to determine the validity of his extracurricular work. He and his work passed all scrutiny. He is no dummy. I believe him.

Although Dr. Jacobs says he is not a proficient hypnotist, I have observed his techniques and I assure you that he is. He is very careful never to lead his subjects and even cross-questions in several different ways. Dr. Jacobs also uses the scientific methods during his gathering of information regarding this slow, but sure “replacement” of certain humans by specially designed “hu-braids.” I have no idea why, nor does Dr. Jacobs provide any proof, by way of what the abductees are told, why this program is in effect, however, one should remember that only nefarious reasons would keep all involved (especially the abductees) on a seemingly “need to know” regiment - with apparently no one familiar with the abductees in the “need to know” category.

I share Dr. Jacobs’ concerns regarding the entire program. I believe the entire human species is in several types of danger. Please listen to this book. It presents a summary of over 25 years of Dr. Jacobs’ discoveries. I believe that Dr. Jacobs (as well as the late Bud Hopkins) are warning us of incredible and unknown dangers.

Dr. Jacobs also warns his readers (listeners) that there are no interested investigators which show interest in continuing either Bud Hopkins or his investigations (he doesn’t charge for his sessions, accepting only the information and data from the sessions in exchange for the help he provides the abductees that pass his strenuous intake questionnaires).

Get this audio book. Listen to it.

May God help us all.

Huge Claims with Zero Efforts to Validate

If the claims made in this book are true, then it opens up new avenues to obtain physical proof. If these abductees are truly meeting regularly with hybrid aliens on Earth, then it should be easy enough for a private investigator to locate these beings through the abductee. If the author truly cares about this subject and the psychologists who have come before him, then he would at least address this idea.

Disturbing & humorous

I enjoyed the mystery of the topic. It left me with more questions than answers.

Important update on the Change program

This will be considered ridiculous by many people who choose to deny the details presented. For critical thinkers it is a validation and an update on our current global situation.

Interesting but one-sided

This is an interesting and highly credible description of a large number of scary alien abductions. The view of the author is that aliens are supplanting humans with hybrid alien-humans and that this is something like the Invasion of the Body Snatchers--obviously bad news. The book includes no alternative descriptions of the meaning of contact with aliens. Other authors who focus on this alleged hybridization program suggest that aliens are trying to save the human species and the planet. One of the common observations about UFO's is that they focus on nuclear weapons sites and have, on occasion, deactivated test weapon launches. Possibly, the aliens see the potential outcome of the current version of humanity in possession of weapons of mass destruction. And they may have special concerns that we'll soon enough be loading our nuclear weapons onto spaceships and visiting other planets. Possibly, now that our technology has outstripped our ability to get along with others, more advanced species have seen fit to upgrade our genetics. New Agers have developed a whole philosophy which would fit with this meaning of "The Change" that the author refers to. To New Agers the change is a raising of consciousness concomitant with changes in our DNA. The author describes aliens as heartless. However, the fact is that we know little about them. While the author describes only a few individuals of a few species, other authors describe more than 50 species. Many humans who have contacted aliens find them to be wise, loving, and kind. Even some of the abductees that this book describes on occasion develop good relationships with the aliens. We need to remember that 16th Century Native Americans probably would have described Europeans as cruel and heartless. Their first contacts were mostly with desperate men in search of riches. I'm not asking that the author cover all different kinds of contact with aliens and more different species, only that he clarify that he is considering a narrow type of contact and that there are other types of contact and other interpretations being discussed for the alleged hybridization program.

The Risk of Telling

Anyone with the guts to talk seriously about this stuff (spread the word) deserves 5 stars. This is a subject I find extraordinarily interesting - Skating over detail doesn't do it justice. Fortunately for all us believers out there (Includes probably nearly everyone (apart from those £paid to discredit and make fun of the subject)) there are some truelly excellent references (such as this) where the author really pulls out all the stops and piles the pages high with minutia. What I like about this book is the way it presents the facts (even to some extent doubting itself / the hypnosis methods on several occasions whilst gently reminding us evidence from any source is evidence) without forcing an opinion or a half baked theory on the reader! All we know for sure is Aliens are here and they are abducting humans - Our governments must know this is happening - Why aren't they doing anything? The obvious answer is they're a party to it - The rest is guessing!

Struggled to finish!

To much focus on the mundane details of teaching hybrids about human life, dragged out over too many chapter. Not enough info/hypothesis on why they are going through a hybridisation programme and to much on how...

A Fascinating and Disturbing Truth

This is a must for any truly interested in this topic. David Jacobs delves deeper into the abduction phenomena than anything else I have read or listen to. It goes beyond the medical procedures and the on-board interaction to address a possible real intent revealed by the abductees under hypnosis. I was honestly riveted and awakened.

Only downside is the female voices should have been done by females. This did not detract from the story.

Really liked it . I'm right into this subject though. Certainly something for me to look more into.
