Publisher's summary

In The Extratempestrial Model, Dr. Michael P. Masters posits that UFOs and "aliens" are our future human descendants, coming back through time to visit and study their own hominin evolutionary past.

As a professor of anthropology, Masters uses an abductive approach to logically infer the best explanation. He examines well-documented abductee experiences in the context of this time travel model, and considers other theories put forth to elucidate this complex and mysterious phenomenon.

While no single model can account for all aspects of these encounters, in considering various contact cases across the world and through time, recurrent patterns emerge that may offer insight into what these objects are, who is inside, and from where—or potentially when—they are coming.

Compelling and Fun

This book ties loose ends from fabrics of UAP theories of all cloths. I’ve surveyed the UAP literature pretty completely. One in every twenty books uses a robust scientific view to generate amazing new hypotheses. This is one of those books.

An very compelling take on the nature of visitations

I really liked the breakdown of various stories around abductions and encounters linking the possible cause to something human. The summery was also fascinating in that it tied in the block universe model and our narrow perception of time.

A critical UAP perspective to research

The budding " Science" of UAP Studies is in critical need of research like this. For anyone paying attention it should be obvious there is much beyond just technology to discuss. UAP phenomenon involve technical, cultural, psychological, and let me say it plainly, "Paranormal" components to be properly evaluated. This book does not delve " much" into the paranormal aspects of UAP, but it's successors will need to if they hope to start to understand the scope of what is, and has been occuring in our Sky's, our Seas, and in our minds.
Take this book to heart to make the first step. And don't forget that wisdom requires, Science, Skepticism, and honest curiosity to blossom.

A Compelling Case!

This perspective makes so much sense! I still do believe there are a myriad of different types of beings from different places and dimensions. However as of last year, 2022 I had begun to hear little comments here and there that beings such as the Greys, could be “time traveling, future humans”. Mike Masters makes a compelling case in the ExtraTempestrial Model. I’m convinced! Excellent book. I highly recommend!

This changed my entire outlook.

This whole concept is so profound and obvious that it would be very hard to come up with a logical rebuttle. everyone should read or listen to this even if you still can't "believe" in ufos. mathmatically aliens exist in our universe but we are not witnessing them. we are seeing humans. plain and simple... extraordinary

Excellent fun listen

Masters has done it again with a smart, captivating story. Will have you thinking for a long while about his ideas of time and otherworldliness.

Fascinating analysis

Dr. Masters doesn't disappoint in this second book on the Phenomenon. His case analysis isn't laden with extraneous information; he keeps his eye and the reader's eye on the ball. As with his first book, I'll be giving this one multiple reads. I recommend both books without question.

Very Convincing Arguments

Many well thought out and articulated points that make a strong case for the idea that at least some, if not most, of the UFO phenomenon has to do with our near and more distant human descendants visiting us in their own past. Good synthesis of various scientific fields, but with information presented in a way that is understandable to anyone. It's like sitting back and listening to good ghost stories.... but with aliens (future humans).

Well articulated, and imperative that humanity begins to take this subject seriously. Thanks Dr Masters.
