Listening to this book the 2nd time in years, the timing was perfect for the season of life I’m in- lost my job 2 months ago & while finding new freedom & healing for my heart, and waging war in the spirit against the enemy of my soul, I’m also about to embark on a new adventure with God into the unknown. I don’t know yet what I will find in the coming weeks and months but I know it will be really Good because in my quiet fellowship with the Lord and in conversations & prayers with trusted friends in my community, He’s assured me so! Thanks John Eldredge for another powerful book that helps people come alive to God intended them to be. 🙏🏻❤️☝🏻

Content is revolutionary in comparison to the normal run of self help books that are usually found in this christian genre. This is the eye opening result of rediscovering a relationship with God.

Glean truth from this one!

This is one of the best Christian books I have read in a while. Oddly enough, Sacred Romance also fits in this category. The reader does a great job also; Dolan also reads The Message.

I am still working through all the information contained in this book to see if I believe it all. It is, after all, a book written by a man. There is, however, truth to be gleaned from it. Definitely worth the money and time.

Read it and allow the Holy Spirit to do a deep work in you through it. I especially liked being reminded that we have an enemy set against us and the focus on redemptive community.
