Book Research Never Felt So Good!

This was such a fun romantic comedy narrated superbly by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton. I had watched Amy Daws' adventures unfold on social media and was super curious how this translated to the book. I was not disappointed!

Miles and Kate's story was filled with plenty of laughs, swoons, and sexy times! I'm not really a camping type of gal, but after reading that chapter, I'm ready to head to the great outdoors! ;) The secondary characters in Wait With Me were just as fun too! I loved Kate's friendship with Lynsey and Dean and we would all be so lucky to have people like them in our lives. I really enjoyed the additions to the story of actual events that Amy Daws experienced as well, especially the pizza delivery and fake invoice. Don't even get me started on the cover too! Gah! What a perfect Miles and that smirk captures the playful tone of the story perfectly!

You really couldn't have asked for better narrators for this story. Erin Mallon brought Kate to life - quirks and all. She captured the snark, vulnerability, and humor so well. Add in the amazing Teddy Hamilton and I was in narrator heaven! Both gave wonderful performances and I couldn't help falling in love with Miles and Kate. You definitely don't want to miss this one!

I loved this audiobook! Not only was it fun and sexy but it also had seriously great characters! Miles was perfect! He is a hard working blue collar guy with a little baggage but he was also fun and flirty and sweet. Kate too was so much fun, I love how obsessive she was about finding the perfect writing spot and how she used her Pen name as a way to let loose and be herself instead of being who she thought she should be. There were a few parts (especially the pizza delivery) that had mu giggling like crazy. I think what I loved the most about the story was how down to earth it was and how in the end it was a sexy feel good book! Amy Daws really had me from chapter one on this one.

The narration was INCREDIBLE!!!! Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton are an amazing dream narration team. They both are great at both POV and together they rocked this audiobook!!!!

Love this story!

I follow this author on social media, and I laughed so hard at her tire shop antics in real life. I read this ebook when it first came out, and laughed out loud at the similarities. I can't tell you how funny the audiobook was! My neighbors probably think I'm crazy because of all the belly laughs this book gave me. The narrators were so perfect! Erin Mallon perfectly captured Daws's voice, with super dramatic flair. And, Teddy Hamilton totally nailed the hot mechanic in my head. I'm so happy I decided to listen to this book, even after reading it.

Just when you think you’ve read the funniest romantic comedies there are and swooned over the best book boyfriends and BOOM! In bursts in Amy Daws with Wait With Me and takes it to another level of awesomeness!

Jesus, let’s start with Miles because, umm, it’s Miles! He’s legitimately the perfect book boyfriend. He’s a sexy mechanic with a huge heart and just the right amount of possessive alpha in him. Uh, I’ll take take two please! Then we have Kate. She’s freaking adorable. I mean, it’s hard not to love the chick. She’s a romance writer, she’s a bookish person, she’s freaking hilarious....what’s not to love? Nothing! She’s needs to be my new best friend. My favorite part of the book was Miles and Kate together. Their banter was off the charts fantastic, their chemistry undeniable, and their story kept me smiling and laughing through. Plus them sexy scenes! *le swoon* Made a girl need a damn cold drink!

How do you take an already off the charts amazing book and make it better? You add narration by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, of course! Gah! Teddy Hamilton can talk dirty to me any time, please. He was the perfect amount of sexy, alpha mechanic and swoonfully sweet guy. I wanted him to give me a tune up. *wink* Erin Mallon knocked my socks off as Kate! She had me laughing so hard the whole time and falling in love with the story all over again. 5 stars.

Loved Loved Loved it!!!

I loved everything about this!! Amy Daws is gold baby!! She didn’t disappoint .. the story was fantastic. I felt like I knew the MC because I follow Amy and I knew the story behind it. I literally had a smile on my face the whole time. It felt so real. I could totally related to the MC’s. I love the he was just a normal guy a normal sexy guy;)

Oh the narrators!! La Swooooonn!! Erin and Teddy are so freaking good!! I do have to say I miss the duel narration but this so so freaking good!! Thank you much everyone involved for being awesome!!

Fantastic!

I don't know what I loved more... the magnificent writing or the drool worthy narrations! This book had it all! The writing was soo funny~ It pulls you in from the start and never lets you go. The quick wit, the verbal sparring, and oh dear god... the CHEMISTRY! I could feel everything they were going through and oh man, was it a ride!

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton did BEYOND a fabulous job! They both brought these characters to life in vibrant- in your face- color. They blew me away!

Oh. My. God. I loved Wait With Me when I read it and now I love it even more.
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job by bringing to life Kate (AKA Mercedes) and Miles. I loved how they translated the sexy moments, as well as the funny and the drama around the lies and secrets of Kate's. I gotta admit, this time it wasn't as stressful as the first time I read it because I knew what was going to be the outcome of their story, but I felt the little angst around all "Mercedes" lies and secrets.
There were two parts that I loved so much in the audiobook:
- The party when Miles arrived because it sounded hotter in the audiobook, even more than when I read it.
- When Mercedes tries to be all "Hey Bro" on Miles LOL So funny!!
All in all, this audiobook is a great companion for the book, with a funny, romantic and sexy story of an author who got to have her own real-life book boyfriend.

A really fun story to read with quirky, witty characters. Its filled with fun flirting, sexy research, and crazy friends. The "research" is definitely something I want to do get in on ASAP! I may have to try to write a book so I can pull that move.... This was my first book by Amy Daws but not my last! I cannot wait to read more!

The narration was great! Both narrators did a great job bringing out the fun, witty banter!

LOVED IT!! THE STORY, THE CHARACTERS, THE LOCATION, THE NARRATION....ALL OF IT!!! This book drew me in from minute one almost, and kept my attention the whole time!! I would love more from this couple...and I hope Amy turns this into a series, or at least a duet!!

surprisingly good

surprisingly good. likable characters, sexy steamy love scenes, simple but good enough story, and great narrators. I usually can't tolerate first person narrative but for some reason wasn't bothered this time.

Loved this! What a fabulous listen!

This is not my first time with this author, she is a favourite of mine. It was however, the first time I have listened to narration by Teddy Hamilton...OMG! He is soooo hot as Miles! The narration was absolutely spot on by both and I f-loved having them in my ears all weekend.

Amy Daws you are a legend!! Following your TTT antics on Facebook and the lead up to the book has been the highlight of my year so far and now getting to listen to it is everything. I loved this story and loved the chemistry between Kate and Miles - the author and the mechanic, it was hot hot hot. The humor was on point as always and had me chuckling alot. As always everything was on point with your audio version.

Freaking loved it so hard.

Omg I've read this book twice since it's release and I love it so much, but listening too it was so much better Erin Mellon and Teddy Hamilton were the perfect narrators. The story is so good, I love the story line and the characters. This has become one of my favourite Amy Daws books out of all her publications. I love the Sassiness of Kate/Mercedes and Miles is totally Swoon worthy, the Perfect Book Boyfriend.

Fun to listen to. Excellent narrators and they tell the story well. Highly recommended book.

Fun rom com

An actually funny rom com with a clever meta romance plot, well fleshed our characters and a decent story.

The narrators were really good, particularly a fan of Teddy. Recommended for a light romance read

i just love amys books

On a note. i have this rule. i always do audio for Amys books.
Normaly i would say i am the kind of reader who would read the kind of books that Kate(Mercedes) writhe. The hot steamy books. But Then there is some authers that can writhe so good that they keep me reading, no matter what they write. Amy ia one of these authers. She can also make me laugh. And i dont do funny. But i do Amy kind of fun.
So well written. And such a good lovestory. The relationship between Miles and Kate is so good. They finde each other when Kate findes her muse, her place to writhe in a tire depot's costomer care center. So she thinks she is smart and sneak in every day unnoticed. But Miles see her. And simply cant stay away from the beautiful readhead.

Love this book

I have read and listened to this book!
So easy to listen to.
The story follows Kate writer who is struggling to write her next book until finds the customer centre at her local tyre shop and Miles a mechanic at said shop.

Both of them have issues Kate still lives with her ex as he refuses to leave and Miles has just got rid of his toxic ex and doesn't feel like he can be in a relationship now.

But can Kate get rid of the ex? Can Miles get over the way his ex treated him?

Loved the story & narration!

This story hooked me from the beginning, especially with such a dynamic narrating duo! I hope we hear more from these characters in the future! ❤️

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton really bring this hilarious tale to life. I'll never look at a Tyre depot's waiting room in quite the same way again!
