dark magic
Teens with magic ,angst, and a greed for power at any cost. Some really vile kids doing really hateful vile things via magic, dark magic. There are a few decent beings, but not enough. Ends on a cliffhanger. I have no desire to continue this evil. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Vexed
This was a first for me by this author. Sammie Flowers has just found out her lineage and a necklace that may contain more than she can handle but it is her destiny. Will she wait until she’s 18 to take all that is coming to her? Or will she make the ultimate sacrifice to lift the curse?
I enjoyed listening to this book. Talon David did an amazing job bringing with these characters.

Definitely a tween series
The story is good for a tween/teen. There’s not a lot of fluff or filler so, will hold a younger audience. It ends with a cliffhanger. The narrator did an awesome job.
