Empath

This is the story of Toula and Henri. The connections, distrust, danger, and passion/romance moves the story quickly along. Narrator did a good job. This was my first book by M.K. Chester. It was an interesting story, and leads into the next in the series.

Really enjoyed!

Really enjoyed this book. The start to what looks to be a great story line. The narrator did a good job. I definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to hearing more in this series.

Unshakable!

This is an interesting and intriguing story line. It is also a fairly quick read/listen and prequel to the "Midheaven Origin" series. The story has empaths and angels. Toula is an empath who has her hands full raising three girls. Henri is a messenger sent to warn but may have hidden motives. The story is good and the narrator did a really good job. Having said that there are definite unanswered questions and gaps that need to filled in. Maybe more is reveled in the next story. I did listen to the audiobook of this story.

Empaths & Angels

This is a quick listen, but is a complete story and a good introduction to the series. Chronologically, these events occur first, but I read the other two stories prior to this one, and liked that this prequel gave more depth to characters I already knew about.

Even though it isn't as long as the other books, there's a lot packed in to the story. The emotions between Toula and Henri run the gauntlet from distrust to an uneasy trust to love in the end. It's fast-paced, and provides the basis for the world building that is expanded on in the next books.

Christy Lynn narrated. I enjoyed listening to her storytelling throughout the series.

Emthapath

This was a well written story about a family being pursued by a fallen angel who has designs on the women of this family. First we meet Toula who is raising her 3 granddaughters while their mother attends University. Narrator does a good job with the characters and Storyline.

I liked this prequel, it definitely leave you wanting to find out more about these characters. We don’t actually hear what happens to the adults in the first story. We meet fallen angels and empaths. I’m definitely interested in more.

This book definitely kept me on the edge, but it's interesting as well. The narrator was awesome.

interesting Storyline

I felt the storyline was interesting but there were gaps that needed explanations. What exactly the powers and the parts the women played for the future? What the prophecy is? Who are the Grigorie and why they seek redemption? I would have enjoyed the book more. Christy Lynn was great with the narration.

Pulled me in!

Intriguing story, can't wait for the next in the series! I am so curious to know more about this world and the characters' stories. The narrator's voices were easy to follow!

I listened to this book at a bit of a lull in my reading and it pulled me in so I couldn't wait to turn it back on!
