Iris Johansen didn’t disappoint

Full of twists and turns just like all her books. On thing that I found disappointing was the main character Clair was just too goody-two shoes. I enjoyed knowing most of the characters which is something that Iris Johansen does she builds on her characters. Can’t wait to listen to another one.

not smooth flowing verbage, repeated twisted lips 120 times, basic story good, needed more polish

Fact checking flaw.

Several times an Apache helicopter was referred to as the way Brandon and his team were transported in their efforts to rescue Rachel and others in Guyana. No way that could happen. The Apache helicopter is a gunship that only carries a crew of two, the pilot and co-pilot, and a lot of firepower. They would have needed a Blackhawk or similar helicopter which transports troops and also has decent weaponry. Please don't assume that the majority of your audience are women who wouldn't know the difference. I am a woman. I enlisted in 1976 and retired as a master sergeant after 23 years in Army aviation. During that time I performed maintenance on and was a crew chief on Uh-1 Hueys and worked on almost every type helicopter the Army has had. I was the First Sergeant of an aviation unit deployed to Desert Storm. I may have been one of the first women in the Army to follow that path but certainly not the last. Please give us the respect of doing a little fact checking.
On a positive note. Don't want you to think I'm all bad. I've enjoyed your books emencely.
