I’ve watched most of the audiobooks in this series and this one is really good, very spicy too!!!

I just couldn’t

I’ve listened to so many stories and I really wanted to like this. The Russian accents used make it very hard to listen to and understand clearly. That is to be expected on an audio medium but it does take away from the experience when you are having to turn the volume way up to decipher what is being said. The writing was tough. Every thought was a long, drawn out monologue. I can tell that the storyline is probably good and the content is as well but you have to listen to so much. Each thought that should take a second in real life is 15 minutes of audio. I gave up halfway through.

I really wanted to love this the narration was okay. Unfortunately the male narrators interpretation of a Russian American accent was a huge miss. I'm sure most people didn't even notice it but he sounded so much more Transylvanian than Russian.(My fiance is first generation American who's father was from the Ukraine, & he laughed out loud when he heard the male leads voice(His family is from the Ukraine).
Aside from narration honestly the story was just a little weak.
It wasn't bad it just didn't hold my interest real well.
Smut was kinda lack luster to I love ddlg kink & bdsm themes but even with the heavy amount of good spicy scenes it's just missed it's mark for me.
