29-year-old Paul Donnelly has been many things in his life. Son of addicts, high school dropout, tattooist, the shameless bodyguard to Beckett Cobalt, the “bodyguard camp counselor” to the rookies of SFO, Loren Hale’s nemesis, and Xander’s wise one.
But nothing means as much without Luna Hale. The sci-fi-loving writer. A weirdo. Sister to his client. The only one he’s fallen for.
To be with Luna, he has to ensure it’s totally, completely, unmistakably safe. That starts with taking care of his family—the family he walked away from as a teenager.
He knows he’ll survive. He can survive anything. But this time, he just wants to survive with her.
Take an epic cosmic journey with Luna & Donnelly through heartache, hope, darkness, love, and an unceasing light—where the bonds we make are what power us through time.

I'm so invested with these "American Royalty" families and their bodyguards, I haven't been able to put them down and stop reading them.
I am very distraught that I only have one book left now. 😢
Krista and Becca Ritchie, please add continue writing more about the Hales, Cobalts, and Meadows families.
Sincerely, a fan for life

I love the worlds the twins build and would happily read hundreds of thousands of words of nothing but these characters eating dinner and building ikea furniture together, but they still find a way to breathe fresh life into their plots without it feeling overly trope-y or like they’re just checking off a list of “things we haven’t included yet.” Twenty four* books into this world and I’m still on the edge of my seat, devouring these stories and can’t wait for what comes next.
Oh and we’re hit with a major cliffhanger at the end. Although at this point I have such faith in the authors that I think I have an idea what’s coming and it’s going to be more fun than heartbreaking.
Narration: A narrator switch mid series can be tough, but I really loved Leesa Lamb and thought she fit Luna even better than Michelle Sparks did.
