Campy

Listen to just the first book. The storyline is rather childish, campy, and stereotypical. I don’t think I’ll continue listening. Glad I got it with a free credit.

Def. not fact based science fiction

The advanced humans believe Socialism and Communism is the future and natural state of humanity when all evidence is to the contrary. Very campy and weak one liner delivery attempts.

Fantastic adventure

Wonderful writing and narration makes this collection one I will listen to more than once

Entertaining but simple minded

Thought I was buying a military scifi, which it is but started veering wildly into fantasy by the second book. With the inclusion of ancient gods and superpowers, it gets tongue and cheek real quick. Also, the author has an annoyingly niev sophomoric pc view of science, and it comes through loud and clear in the writing. Nevertheless, it was entertaining and worth the price for the bundle. But if military scifi is your bag, and you like this series, nothing I've read on here so far beats the Galaxies Edge series.

Repetitive theme

The story is well thought out but it repeats itself over and over again with the main character getting stronger powers but not stronger in character. Very one dimensional all the way through.

Amazing Series

I can imagine this as a Movie, Tv Series or even an Anime. the storytelling and world building are phenomenal and I love all of it. I cannot wait til books 8-14 are released. I will absolutely be preordering them. One of my favorite things to listen to at work by far!!

not for me

if you're a fan of 80's sci-fi television you will love this story. if I ever hear the word Thorax again it will be too soon
