Thank you Miranda! This was what I felt the Holy Spirit was speaking to me but was such confirmation to me and comforting to me that I am not alone. I loved the chapter on intimacy and praying over it is something I have never done but am starting to do now. It was like a lightbulb went off! One thing I do wish you could add was if we are supposed to share our experiences with our spouse? Like if I have a dream or vision do I even tell them? Maybe you purposefully didn’t answer that bc there is no right answer. Thank you for this! Praying for you !

I highly recommend this book to those who are in committed relationships with their spouse and their faith.

Miranda Gets It

There aren’t many books or resources for spouses in spirituality mismatched marriages. Feels like a taboo position to be in, in life and church. We feel like the church’s black sheep. They feel sorry for us or pity us. I appreciated having something else to read in addition to Lee Strobel’s contributions on the topic. We walk a lonely complicated road.. but it provides the most opportunities to love like Jesus. That part is an honor. I wish I would have heard this book in the authors voice— the narrators tone did not match the weight of feeling we experience in marriages like ours. Miranda would have conveyed the feeling more authentically.

Needed book

This is a needed book in a category that is sparse, unequally yoked/spiritual mismatched. It has small nuggets from every category of life to help you know you are not alone. For the audible book I had to speed up the narrators voice. It’s a pleasant voice, just too slow.

Helpful if you follow the Lord

I wanted to listen to this book for myself and for helping other women in the ministry I serve.

This book is easy to listen to and continually points you back to Christ. There are parts that are very helpful and other parts that are some what helpful.

Overall it is a long book, but one I’m glad I listened to.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing content... I expected a much more biblically driven narrative to a difficult relationship situation... a full chapter on body language ???
