Publisher's summary

Peace is all Hel has longed for since she died, and finally, she feels like she’s found it...that is until three unexpected visitors ruin her romantic evening with Soren.

Soon, the safety of the home she’s carefully crafted begins to crash around her, and once more she’s jerked out of everything she knows and thrown into a world of nothingness - a world she has to create and rule over.

Starting from scratch and bound to the threads of her fate, she learns she can’t run from her destiny, but just maybe she can weave it into a design of her liking.

If she can adapt and accept this world of new faces and new rules, she will be more powerful than she ever imagined. If not, it’s not only her soul she has to worry about, but the souls of all who come to her. Either way, it’s going to cost her.

Mesmerizing, Captures me on many levels

Every story from Willie Daltons series captures me by Lessa Lambs voice.
The story line is capturing. It’s easy to vision and break away, while going about my day and travels. I can follow the story line and envision it in my mind, from the intimate touch, between Soren and Hel, and her misadventures of being trapped by death.

I long for additional stories to follow this series and hope that in Helheim, they find comfort with their Queen and her strength.

While I’ve enjoyed the series and was excited to see this stories end, I’m left questioning if there will be more. And I was a bit sad on a few of the twists that occurred in this story.
Lessa still did an amazing job with narration of the story.

Outstanding narration! The story is crazy good too!

This series is just outstanding! I’m pretty sure I listen to this with a smile on my face. I love hanging out with Hel just to see what is going to happen next. It’s always a surprise and sometimes fun! She is a resilient strong person who is learning how to continue to cope with her new life.

The rest of her crew is interesting too. Although in here we meet new players to the game. Plus we get the always intriguing visit from her father. Not sure I cared what happened between her and Soren just because their shared history and he is the last piece of her past. But times change I guess.

Overall....I can’t get enough of this series. I love the unexpectedness of it all. I eagerly look forward to listening to more. On a side note the cover is perfect! That darn black dress! HA!

I did listen to this on audio. Lessa Lamb...well she just Nails this! Her portrayal of Hel is spot on!

Best out of the series, so far!

I really like how this story is moving along. Very imaginative story.I feel so sorry for Hel, she's had fleeting bits of happiness and so much heartache. when will she get to reap some lasting happiness?
Lessa Lamb narrates beautifully!
