Gaviritr Book About New York
Chris is a great storyteller and has an incredibly compelling story to tell. I wasn’t a huge Blondie fan but love his photos of NYC, like Blondie, and am fascinated by New York of the 60s to present day. I loved it.

Great Companion to Debbie Harry’s Biography
I had just finished reading Debbie Harry’s great biography when this came out. To truly understand Blondie I would recommend reading both books. They cover a tiny bit of the same ground, but from different points of view. The affection between these two musicians is obvious and endearing. The insights into the 70’s New York punk scene, the music bustiness, and fame are at times fascinating, funny, and occasionally sad. In the end you will love both artists, the band, and the music they created.

The arc of wild minds and sound.
I loved All of it. The downtown NYC scene of the ‘70s and ‘80s, which I experienced myself and look back with great fondness. Chris and Debbie’s enduring friendship and all the stories starting with Chris’ childhood. My heart cracks for Chris and his lovely family in their unimaginable loss.

More about drugs and apartments than the band Blondie
This is not a telling of the band stories of the songs, band members and the formation of the band that made him famous. Not very much on his relationship and meeting Debbie. Oh well.
