A riveting and heartfelt perspective on Rahab
A beautiful interpretation of the story of Rahab. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. Ms Rivers makes Rahab come alive and is able to present her in a way that makes her real, reveals her human vulnerabilities and her wisdom. She becomes a whole woman and not merely a harlot. The reddening also drawn into Salmon's valiant defense of this woman who on the face of things is the antithesis of everything he holds dear yet demonstrates an innate understanding of and yearning for God surpassing that of many of His chosen people. A sweet love story between two people who love God first.

Great stories!
I really enjoy this series and the ability of the author to give us a fresh perspective of biblical heroines where we don’t get a lot of detail in scripture. However, I feel like every one of Francine Rivers’ books are narrated by women who don’t fit the character they’re portraying. While I’ve certainly heard worse narration, I really dislike how this narrator makes strong, courageous women sound hysterical and whiney when the stories take a dramatic turn.
