Love the stories

I literally loved the stories and the women they choose -- except for Chapter 12. The narrator of that chapter talked EXTREMELY fast to where you felt your heart pounding and not in a good way -- I even slowed the speed down -- plus she didn't tell what scripture the story was from -- so I literally had to stop listening to that particular chapter. However, I loved all of the other chapters and the stories that went with them. Especially Lysa's story in Chapter 11 because I work with homeless teens and I know some of them can relate to a parent saying something cruel to them.

I thought the audio was good.

I Thought the audio was good. There was just one narrator I couldn't relate to. I don't know rather her voice sounded to young or if she was just over the top. The rest of the cast were great and the audio was interesting. I wish there was more to listen to.
My fav are Amena Brown and Lysa Terkeurst.

Enjoyed

I think that all of the women did a fantastic job and I love them all equally for each for different reasons. The only think that I wish is that they would have had a little more time to dive just a bit deeper into the actual Bible story. However, I did have gains and truly enjoyed this audible.

REAL

Such REALNESS is shared, it holds the power to give grace to others that there is hope of restoration and change!! The teachings point to love and relationship, the very basis of a true Christian life. Highly recommend, no matter how busy your schedule is.

What a joy

This book was exactly what I needed it took me months to read it because I got absorbed in the life of each sister.
If you are looking to learn more and strengthen your Bible study muscle this listen will do it. We get the Biblical story and impact to the women BUT then we are blessed by not only our 1st Century sisters but also 21st Century stories from names that are familiar to us in the world.
