almost half way in this has been one of the most boring books I've ever listened to. since less than 3 hours in I've forced myself to trudge through hoping it gets better, no luck. there is zero to like about either of the main characters. I am returning this

Slow burn series
I normally don’t care for cliff hangers but I’m enjoying this series! The author takes her time building these characters and their stories so I felt fully invested. Worth it!

Never trust a man who gets paid to take off his clothes for a living, and then uses it as a pickup line to get girls in bed with him. That should’ve been enough for me to call in sick that day. I’ve worked with male cover models like him before, and they’re all the same - smooth-talking, sexy as sin, egotistical know-it-alls who think they’re God’s gift to women - all traits I know to steer clear of.
