Publisher's Summary

The last place Evan Vincent expected to be dumped was at his engagement shoot...in a dude ranch in Tennessee. Four years of working for his ex for free and standing in his shadow leave Evan reeling with the sudden freedom. Escaping here and working for the ranch owner for a few months could give Evan a chance to regroup...and rebound. That can’t be a bad idea, can it?

Running a dude ranch takes up all of Josh King’s time and energy. He escaped the place briefly before his dad died and left it to him - along with the memories and the guilt. Even his best friends don’t know the skeletons in his closet. Josh isn’t going to risk his heart when all Evan wants is a good time, doesn’t he?

They don’t know if they’re fighting to turn a rebound into more or to keep it from becoming more. Both seem equally scary for two men with trembling hands and aching hearts, but there’s no denying that they go together like mac and cheese. And maybe - just maybe - this sudden passion is exactly what they were both missing. Is this the best timing ever or the worst timing ever?

Tremble is a stand-alone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliff-hanger.

Awesome conclusion to an excellent series

We FINALLY get Josh's story! The poor last brother to find happiness. Josh has tried to make it like he is just focusing on work, but seeing all of the brothers find love has left him wanting more in his life beside the Dude Ranch that he owns and runs.

Evan goes to Josh's ranch spend a week on vacation and to get engagement pictures taken with his "fiance". Said JERK treated Evan poorly right from the beginning, and fortunately he did not stick around long. Poor Evan was a little blindsided, but when he took a step back and looked at it all, he saw the signs that they weren't meant to be. Evan was suddenly stranded at the ranch with no job or home to return to.

Josh felt bad for Evan. He hated that he was treated the way he was and didn't want him alone. He offered him a place to stay and eventually work until he could get things situated. There was a definite attraction between the two, but they both decided that if they got involved it would be a short term rebound thing. Until, of course, they both fell head over heels for the other. There were things to work through (the rebound and feelings about the ex, how to work and live together, how soon is too soon to fall in love, etc), but they were worked out and written well.

I can't wait for the wedding. I love seeing all of the significant brothers and their significant others together. Another home run for E. Davies.

I did a re-read of this by way of the audiobook, and it was just as great the second time around. I love the way that Greg Boudreaux gave these guys life in the whole series. Excellent edition.

Amazing ending to an amazing series!

This is the last book of this series and it is sad but I am so happy so it ended. Josh and Evan's story is just has so much emotions that I just love. Then Greg Boudreaux just brings all those feels to life. He does such an amazing job in making me feel everything. Perfect ending with the perfect narration!

A story with so much heart and all the feels!

I love how Greg Boudreaux really made this story come alive for me with his narration. I could hear the hope and fears in his voice and i could feel Evan and Josh fall in love. Beautifully done!
A story with so much heart and all the feels! I loved the idea of meeting the perfect person at the most imperfect time and how do you handle that. Are you brave and trust yourself or do you protect your heart and not take a chance on love. This story is about learning your heart and trusting yourself. It is about being loved and accepted for who you are and valuing yourself. Just a beautiful story that will warm your soul!

Evan and Josh will just make you smile and want to wrap them up in your arms! I really enjoyed watching them learn each other and take care of each other. Their self discoveries were logical and their love was organic.

It was wonderful to see the rest of the guys and to know that the 'brothers' were there for both their friend with great advise and support as always. I do wish i had a group of friends that diverse and close.

This is an amazing series and this story could be read as a stand-alone. I do however recommend that you read the entire series because it is awesome.

The last Significant Brother finds his HEA!

Ok, this was just perfect! I have read every single Significant Brothers book and each couple I have loved more... Josh and Evan may well be my new favorite couple (I know I have said this after each book). Big-hearrted Josh is a big kid in many ways and a sweetheart, wanting to help people in need of a second chance. Evan has spent years losing himself in the shadow of his ex-fiancee, but starts to live again in the dude ranch in Tennessee. Obviously the two of them don't stand a chance of not falling head-over-heels in love!
The only negative aspect of this book is that it is the last one of this truly amazing series!
Greg Boudreaux's narration's always amazing and gives each and every book an extra boost and spark!

Josh & Evan

I am really sad to see this wonderful series end but what a way to go. I love this story of Josh and Evan. I have seen Josh throughout the book sin this series and I was so glad that he finally got his HEA. Josh and Evan are great together as they build their relationship while learning to let go of past grievances that get in the way of truly building a lasting connection. I love how they work through things together and how Evan is always trying to make Josh see just how great and giving he really is with everyone. The narrator did a spectacular portrayal of the characters and the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

saying bye is hard, best book in the series

I can't believe the series is over. ughhh i must say though I think the author saved the best for last.
When Evan meets Josh you can practically feel the electricity between the two. The narrator did such an awesome job with these two. you could feel the electricity between the two in the words as he read them to us,
Josh's heart has been scarred by words that have left him feeling less than. Evan is trying to show Josh how wonderful he truly is. Can these two figure it all out and come together and be what each other needs them to be? I am so sorry to this series end I absolutely loved it.

Unexpected Consequences

What a truly fun story. It was great getting to know Josh better. He was always the quiet one and not nearly around enough in the others stories. He is sweet and caring and has a huge heart with enough room for all of the people that he cares for. When Evan started his vacation he had no idea the twists that would come. I thought that he was adorable and nice but stuck in a place he didn’t really realize was horrible for him. I think that they are perfect for each other and they have lots of fun together. They are both able to shine light on their pasts and the circumstances that led them both to be where and who they are now. The chemistry is off the charts and I really enjoyed seeing them support one another in difficult times. I thought that the narrator has done an amazing job with all of the characters and details in all of these stories. He has done great work bringing them all to life.

Can't wait for the next.

Another great add to the series. Finally we get to read the last brothers book and the wait was worth it. Josh and Evan are adorable as much as they are hot. Greg Boudreaux tone and flow is perfect for these guys personality. This was a wonderful and sweet story that only E. Davies can provide. Can't wait for the next.

Love Josh and Evan

I am torn about what to say here....on one hand I'm sad that the Significant Brothers are done as a series but on the other hand I have been anxiously awaiting Josh's story on audible. With Josh being the last brother to find love I knew E. Davies was going to give us an awesome story and he most definitely did. I wish Josh could have gotten his hands on Monty because I would have loved to see him give that man what he deserved for how he treated Evan. Evan was absolutely perfect for Josh and their story was well written with very little angst. The issues that they ran into were from farm hands and those were solved easily and never directed at their relationship. I wish we had seen more of the other brothers because I already miss them but I'm sure I will be re-listening to this series at some point. Greg Boudreaux did an amazing job with the narration as always!

I Want More

I have both anticipated and dreaded this release because all of these beautiful men have become dear to me and I know this is the last of the series but I'm convinced they saved the best for last.

This book has all the feel's (I mean honestly they all do) but this one makes you wanna reach through your listening device and strangle a supporting character cuz he's suchhhhhh a douchebag and I was screaming the whole time Evannnn you deserve better.

When Evan meets Josh you can practically feel the lightening bolts as they find their mark in Josh's heart and when Josh finds out that it's Evan's fiancee who has covertly plotted to ditch him during what is supposed to be their engagement photo shoot he feels bad for him and gives him a safe place to land.

Josh's heart has been scarred by words that have left him feeling less than and Evan has turned himself into a pretzel trying to be all that his fiancee needs him to be but together they traverse the shadowed planes and what they find is so much better than anything either ever hoped to.

Greg's narration of E.'s words is stellar as always and he gives the story heart and heat. Such a joy both to read and now to hear. If you have not read or listened to the other magnificent books in this series I promise they are soooo worth it. Enjoy!
