Still good…but cliffhanger #2 is annoying

Awesome DUEL narration! Another cliffhanger is a turn-off. I’m hesitant about using another credit. I’m intrigued to see how the voices will tie together - hoping Book 3 is as good as Book 1. Bates being added to the “relationship” feels forced & his voyeurism is gross. Wasting chapters on him when the book isn’t that long is disappointing.

I've read these books so many times. It's in the double digits. the story is so sweet and relatable. the narrations are incredible. these books are some of my favorites. these books have ruined other audio books for me haha. Memphis is a dream. I love the duet style and wish it was standard. I listen to these constantly, especially when I don't have anything else to listen to. highly recommend.

A good sequal

This wasn't my favorite out of the series, but it wasn't the worst sequel. After reading it, I did want to continue the series, and the voice acting was great.

I’ve read both books and now I’ve got over a month for the next book just to be released! Gah I don’t know how to wait that long!

One of my favs

I've listened to this series multiple times, it is one of my favorites. I want a Memphis.

Just as incredible at the first book

This series is one of my all times favorites, and definitely also in my top five series as far as narration goes. I cannot say enough about this series. I love all the relationships, and the characters and the unique pieces they each bring to the story. I love how mental health is explored in the series as well. The narrators are perfection.

As for the review saying Bates voyeurism is gross, it’s wild to me to come into spicy romance book spaces/reviews and kink shame. Especially a kink that is explored in a very vanilla version as far as the gradient of voyeurism can go. Let’s not yuck other peoples yums, and realize that we aren’t all gonna be into everything we read and that’s ok, maybe it just wasn’t written for us.
