I really love Sam and Jared, the H and h, in this book. They both have such a dry sense of humor and their interactions are epic.

Be aware, this series is about vampires that are violent and sexually adventurous. As a result, the humor is often about sexual situations or violent acts. Some readers/listeners will likely not appreciate this type of humor. Is it tacky? Yes, sometimes it is but, it’s fantasy, so if such things are not your cup of tea, choose a different series and a different author. This is Suzanne Wright’s style, and you either love it, or hate it; I love it!

SW’s Hero’s are dirty talking, possessive Alpha males that have dominant personalities. Her Heroines are just as dominant but, sometimes allow their men to think they are in control, as the Heroines really run things in the background.

The mystery, in this book, kept me guessing, right up to the end; not predictable, at all!

There is a bit of relationship drama, but it’s not drawn out or full of Angst. This couple actually communicates!

I devoured this book, in a day; as I do all this author’s books. The only thing I would change is the word count. Longer is usually better, right!🤣

The Story is so full of twists and turns...WOW!

The Story is so full of twists and turns you're on the edge the whole time. After years of being together they are both so in love their still afraid of losing the other but still just as stubborn to keep each other and those they care for together. For better and worse the lethal team is awesome!

Suzanne does it again

I absolutely loved this series! It was light, fun, but still had so many twists and good fight scenes. I'm glad the last book ended with Sam and Jared, because you really just can't help but fall in love with them. I love that the main character (Sam) was a bad ass, but still emotional expressive. I highly recommend this series and book

Good plot twists

Suzanne Wright always has great stories. I’m not a fan of the voice actors when they do multiple characters (which is often). She is repetitive when it comes to intimate scenes. I got so annoyed by the reading that every character licked their lips that I got upset with myself when I caught myself licking my own!! I skipped every sex scene! Not because I’m a prude, but because once I saw the word “slammed”, I knew it was repetitive! None of that will keep me from reading this author’s work because her stories are great!
