TOO DEVOUT

"TOO Devout: Book 2" was a game-changer in every sense! Denny, oh Denny, you stole the show and my heart. From Book 1 to Book 2, my perspective on him did a complete 180. At first, I thought he was selfish, but as the layers peeled away, I began to understand him in a whole new light. It's that kind of complexity that makes a character truly unforgettable.

Neeka's growth was another highlight of this book. Seeing her evolve, overcome challenges, and come into her own was incredibly satisfying. She's a character I rooted for from the beginning, and to witness her journey was a joy.

Now, can we talk about Ty and Breana? They deserve their own spin-off! Their chemistry, banter, and untold stories left me wanting more. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping the author has something in store for these two because their dynamic is pure gold.

Overall, "Devout: Book 2" solidified my love for this series. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, character growth, and unexpected twists that kept me glued to the pages. I'll be singing praises about this series and recommending it left and right. Here's to hoping for more adventures in this richly woven world!

Super intense

I gave this book of four because of the subject matter. I am excited to see black authors, take mental health seriously and aren’t afraid to talk about it in their books. It is also commendable that there are characters in the book that are willing to risk it all in order to stand by those that they love, who suffer with mental health illnesses. I thought that the storyline was a little tired and the drug dealer image is dead. We as Black people need to do better at how we portray our men. They should be in other professions, besides drug dealing, The underground trade or something else nefarious. The reader was great and did a really good job of portrayed feelings of each character. I thought that Mika‘s character cried too much and was melodramatic at times. I would read this story again, simply because of the topic matter and how each character had to deal with it.

Lawddd! The rollercoaster of emotions had me up all night trying to finish!

Loved! I honestly am not a fan of series, I liked how the first book ended but omg lol this was really good!

This series had me in a complete chokehold for 3 days. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed.

Phenomenal story!!!!!

Devout 2 did not disappoint. The range of emotions I journeyed through kept me on the end of my seat. I could not stop listening because I couldn’t wait to know what happened next. Definitely a literary work of art. Never a dull moment and of course the perfect ending. I LOVE every book she’s written.

My God Tahday.. Both Books . I cant express the Emotions cussing out Nik Crying to Dennnnnyyyy. I mean Rollercoaster ride of Emotions. Wow!!!!

She never disappoints

Once again I am amazed at how I didn’t get bored listening thanks to the narrator…also Takerra never disappoints…most books I read I can always tell how it’s going to play out…but not with Ms. Allen she keeps me on my toes ❣️

Too Devout

This book kept me on my toes. I couldn’t put it down. Her words, the plot of the storyline and the showcase of mental illness and the devotion of love between both of the characters. Beautiful
