First of all the narrators are magical‼️Inpicked the book simply because these two are my favorites , the story was so layered and amazing in addressing so many taboo subjects like men’s mental health

This was a great listen. Nicely done AP, this is worth the 10 hrs. I am recommending this audio book for a good beach moment or a long run.

Absolute chef’s kiss for FMCs performance 💅🏽 At first I thought I was going to have a hard time with MM’s accent but maybe bc he was so good at his performance, I ended up loving it! This story really hit all my buttons with fantastic dialogue, the humor was off the chain, f&f relationships the sex scenes n the realities of it all! This author’s work will be one I plan on searching for! Def the all around bomb in Black romance! 🙌🏾

Beautiful Story

I did this as a read along with the ebook.

This was a beautiful story of two people who lived lives they did not want. They leaned on each other to change for the better.

Julius story and his journey had me in tears in some parts. Black men need love, too. They need a safe space and therapy. I'm happy he got all of that, thanks to Daysha.

Her cousins could kick rocks. I am happy she stopped people pleasing and trusted herself and heart to go after what was hers.

Lauryn and Midnite did their thing with the narration. The emotions displayed was believable. Had me crying and stuff! ❤️❤️❤️

I was skeptical at first because I like for the narrators to narrate versus read the book to me.. however; I loved this book. Definitely worth the credit!!!!!

The voice actors

The story was almost predictable but it was enjoyable as well I love how the character spoke life into her partner and that she was such a boss beautiful black excellent

l loved everything about this beautifully written book! l kept passing by it.. because l figured it would be just another toxic hood romance fluff piece. Man, was l wrong! This book was so awesome! The author brought mental health to the forefront. Undiagnosed trauma is real...PTSD is real...and healing is real. l loved Lucci and Butterfly's journey. The storyline was good. The character development was awesome! The narration was great. Lauryn Nichols and Midnite Michael did their thing! 👏🏾 l wholeheartedly recommend this book! 👌🏾

Absolutely a great love story

This story could and probably has happened to people in real life. You have to be real with yourself and life's reality. I loved how this book hit major topics that do go on in the black community.
