hooked

I can't wait for the next book; this one had me hooked! I was looking for a new series, and I came upon this one; I was hooked from the first book, the first sentence

4.5 fated stars!

Wow! While I enjoyed book #1, I absolutely loved book #2 in the Redwood University series. It was non stop action, drama and funny moments. So much was being unveiled, but it didn’t overwhelm me at all. This book held my attention captive until the very end. The connection these two have is palpable and I can’t wait for book #3!!

Heather Costa and Michael Pierce did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. Very entertaining.

great second book

I loved the second book. narrators were fantastic! looking forward to book 3. this was a new author for me and I am glad I have her a try

Can’t stop listening!

This series is addicting! I haven’t been able to stop listening! So excited for the next book to come out next month!

Alpha-hole!!!

Alexi is the biggest Alpha-hole. Always saying he will protect his mate and then hurts her more. His father is definitely psychotic and so it understandable to want to protect her, but he had very few good moments. Then when hurt all is righted?!? Not sure how I feel about this story line. However it was a good read.

Like the narration.

I tried

I should have stopped at the first book, but I thought I should give it another shot. What bothers me most about the story is the juvenile "love" interested and their actions. It's at in university so that should have been a red flag for me.

I would say what intrigues me the most and had me really curious is- what kind of sup is Nicole?!

After these two books that question alone isn't enough for me to Continue reading the rest of these installments. The voice actors were alright, I gave performance 3 Stars but might have given more if the story was more interesting to me.

This series is not for me.

Good story but not enough groveling!

Well…they make up but the ML never really grovels or does much to make up for all the bad he did in book 1. You do get a look into his past and horrible abuse so that’s something but I would have liked more groveling, less whining about HIS side of things and way more back bone from the FL before they kiss and makeup. Sadly, it’s another case of “fated” = horny stupid FL that can’t say no so I guess I love him. What a bummer. Think I would have liked the FL to runaway with the vampire honestly.
That being said, I love the story and all the side characters. The mask spell was hilarious!
Will continue to read this series despite my disappointment in the progression of the “rejected love” story.
