Loved!

I loved this so much! It was funny and sweet and Damien is a perfect book boyfriend! I was a little worried about what the outcome was going to be once the truth came out and it was way better than I expected! I think this will be something I read every year!!

Abbie is in love with Richard but when he dumps her on halloween because she isn't "serious" enough for his life as a high powered lawyer- she decides to get back at him. She's going to show up at the company Christmas party on his bosses arm and show him exactly what a big mistake he made.

Abbie was just so good in this book! I loved how bubbly and happy and pink she was. I loved watching her start to accept herself and embrace it. And DAMIEN MARTINEZ!? Stop. This man was bossy, strong, dirty talking, sensitive, encouraging, loving, patient. A mix of all the things you could ever want....I loved watching these two come together in the best way.

And without a spoiler- the was Damien handles the ending of this book had me completely sold. I think I'm in love with him. And the epilogue was EVERYTHING! It had be crying and laughing and so so happy with how it all came together.

I listened to this one on audio with my husband over a road trip and the spicy scenes made BOTH of us blush. The performance on this audiobook was FIRE! The breathing and reactions were everything. If you like audiobooks with some spice- this one was fantastic!

Cutesy Cheesey and so much fun

The narrator does take a little getting used to with some odd pauses at the beginning of the book, but it does get better.

This was a re read for me as I read the physical copy last winter and it was just as enjoyable as an audio book. Light and fun great for the season!

The Performance was so horrible!

The reading was so awful, I almost couldn't get through it. This woman was over doing her reading and it was major over acting on her part. I enjoy the author and I had just trusted that. I didn't think about anything else. My lesson and advice is to get the sample before purchasing the story to make sure you can stomach the reader! I will be more mindful with this in the future! I'm not saying I could do better and am only reviewing because I was asked to! The story was still good. It was the author's typical gushy romance and sexiness. I recomend reading this particular book yourself, though!

Great Book, Narration Could Use Some Work

Let me start off by saying the book/story itself is SO GREAT. Morgan Elizabeth really knows how to write and I absolutely loved the characters. My only real issue was the narration by the female narrator. I thought there was an issue with my download at first but noticed she took some strange pauses; her speed and cadence were kind of weird. I think she made some choices when narrating and the choices, for me, distracted from an otherwise really entertaining book. Voice wise, narrator was great, just needs some work on the performance for me.

is has good but the FC irritated me to my soulf

The plot was okay but the protagonist irritated me to my soul. she had so much overthinking going on it was really repetitive. The plot gave legally blond vibes. The book overall was hard to get through bcs there was so much unnecessary inner dialog. The story was really predictable. After the 2nd chapter I almost gave up on it. If i could've return it I would have. But if you can't just give it a chance and push through.

Spicy!

Although the story is predictable, it is entertaining nonetheless. It skips the cliche of misunderstandings and big blow up fights. The cliches is does lean into are funny and work for the story.

the love

this is probably one of my new favorites! I read this book as part of a buddy read and went in not knowing much but the story just gripped me from start to finish... Abby annoyed me at the very beginning but that quickly changed as I got to know her and her story and just related to her in almost every way... I definitely recommend this

Wonderfully Descriptive

I love, love, LOVE Morgan Elizabeth books! This book is descriptive but not too much so that you lose interest. I love the pace and the hot steamy scenes. I never thought I liked this genre before, but after reading different series by her, I can't get through them all fast enough! I'm so glad this series has opened my eyes to another side fiction. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!

repetitive spice

HEA story for the end of the year. The spice was a little repetitive after awhile but it was a cutesy story.
