Publisher's summary

In New York Times best-selling author Jennifer L. Armentrout's gripping new novel, a young woman comes home to reclaim her life.

It's been 10 years since Sasha Keeton left her West Virginia hometown, since she escaped the twisted serial killer known as the Groom. Returning to help run her family inn means being whole again, except for one missing piece. The piece that falls into place when Sasha's threatened - and FBI agent Cole Landis vows to protect her the way he couldn't a decade ago.

First one woman disappears, then another, and all the while disturbing calling cards are left for the sole survivor of the Groom's reign of terror. Cole's never forgiven himself for not being there when Sasha was taken, but he intends to make up for it now, because under the quirky sexiness Cole first fell for is a steely strength that only makes him love Sasha more.

But someone is watching. Waiting.

And Sasha's first mistake could be her last.

Never Say Never!

Would you consider the audio edition of Till Death to be better than the print version?

Both are very good. I think the narrator did a very good job distinguishing the characters. Also, it gave it more of an eerie feeling having someone read it to me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cole Landis! Who doesn't love a sexy FBI officer who is still harboring feelings?!

Which character – as performed by Sarah Naughton – was your favorite?

I would have to say Sasha. Sarah did a very good job on the suspenseful parts.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You bet! I listened to this while I was working, then it carried over into making dinner.

Any additional comments?

If you love Jennifer's books you will not be disappointed. If you're a first time reader, this book is suspenseful and has some romance too. I hope you loved it as much as I did!

Enjoyable book! Loved Cole and Sasha was great too!

Loved this book, is it weird to say it was a feel-good thriller? Er yeah kinda is. Oh well! I enjoyed seeing very adult characters by JLA because she does a lot of new adult stuff. This was refreshing. Sasha was smart and pragmatic, no making dumb choices just to try to prove how bad ass she was. It was just all so mature and sweet. Not taking the first relationship bump like it’s the end of the world or not talking about it... just fabulous!
So I will say I had a strong hunch about the killer from the beginning based on his profession... isn’t it always “this” profession. And man it was messed up! But there were enough twists and happenings to make things interesting even though I was pretty sure about my whodoneit hunch. Romance wise, other than a pretty easily overcome “you didn’t tell me” moment, things were pretty breezy between Cole and Sasha. But that’s ok! I wanted a romance that was mostly pretty easy. Focused on an outside threat and that’s EXACTLY what I got! Yay!

Another great read

The writing felt sluggish and repetitive in writing style. So it took me a while to get through the book. But it wasn’t enough of a frustration that I wanted to stop reading. I liked the characters and the love interest was swoon-worthy! And the ending was shocking and left me wanting to know more while answering the most important questions.

Suspenseful and different

Where does Till Death rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Hate this question. I rank it in The multiple listen and suspense category of my library. As any frequent listener can tell you it's hard to rank every book against a large library, so I can only say it's a multiple listen book for me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cole. Because he was so protective and just went for it.

Have you listened to any of Sarah Naughton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, and she does a great job bringing these characters to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It constantly made me question what was going on and who the perpetrator was. Great building suspense.

Any additional comments?

This is a slightly different approach to this genre and it was worth it. Ithe characters are well developed and the storyline was easy to follow but hard to detect. It lead you down a path and made you stumble at the forks in the road, so you were never quite sure what direction it was going. Loved the conclusion, though I suspected it for the last quarter of the story, because one scene in particular gave it away, if you paid attention. Definitely a recommend.

Regret purchase

The story is meh. The narrator is very dull. The intimate scenes are poorly executed. The storyline itself isn’t very interesting. I was expecting more suspense, but it fell flat.

Disappointing for this author

First let me say I love this author and a big fan. This book was a complete let down. Very boring until about chapter 20, almost didn’t finish but I still had hope for the author. First half of the book is really about the lead working through her past trauma in order to conclude the most obvious things. The romance storyline fell flat from the beginning. The mystery suspense story line had good potential to be riveting but she just couldn’t sell it. I didn’t think a serial killer “who dunnit” plot could be a snooze fest from this normally action packed author but it was. Narrator was good.

Decent thriller

A decent thriller and overall story. I thought it was a little cheesy and knew very early on who the culprit was. Maybe I'm just good at picking up foreshadowing but I definitely wasn't surprised. The narration wasn't bad but wasn't my favorite. Definitely felt bad for Shasha and all she had to go through.

Lame, basically bad softcore xxx

Starts really interesting, but then becomes all about the looks and sexual relationship, when a love interest comes around. Not sure how anyone enjoys a book like this, seriously just go watch an xxx movie, and don't waste your time with about 5 hours talking about how amazing and handsome the d-bag ex is. I wish I would have stopped listening 3 hours in because it becomes just pathetic drivel the longer it goes.

Really good

It was a little slow to figure out who because i was trying to figure it out through the whole book but, I was able to (only because others said they were shocked) because I was analyzing every “clue”. Such a good story..I challenge you to try to figure it out before it comes to fruition..;-)
