dark sci fi horror perfection

this story is something else. something incredible, intangible, twisting and turning. I have no words beyond, you NEED to listen this, if you are a fan of dark, sci fi horror. I will be thinking about this story for a long, long time.

Sci-fi Psychological thriller

This book was a trip. Really enjoyed the decent of the fmc thoughts and space madness. Really a fantastic read.

I kept guessing the ending I never got it right

Creepy Pining and wonderfully weird

I loved the journey and the creative way as a reader I felt the confusion and madness. Although I could predict the ending / twist, it was beautifully executed.

Pretty good

It was entertaining however, the way the voice actor pronounced ‘pothos’ was irritating. MFC was annoying and I wanted more alien lore but overall it was good.

Deliciously creepy and sexy

Damn! Meg did it again. She brought another creepy AF story with a beautiful blend of spice. You can’t help but be drawn in by these characters, pulled into their allure. Thrum had its fingers around my throat from the very beginning and it was utterly delicious! I still feel the tingle up my spine from the unease of this story! 10/10 recommend even if this isn’t your normal type of book!

it was a great listen! Story was great and the perfect combination of scary and romantic, The reader was just as good it was impressive!

Love the idea but..

While I very much loved the overall vibe of the story and the ending, I wish there had been more time spent on building up a relationship or the chemistry between the two main characters- more information on understanding the alien mmc and how he developed a likeness towards the fmc. I get the horror and thriller vibes but the connection between them felt like it was missing a main component which threw me off a little. I think revealing how and when they became so attached to one another would have deepened the readers understanding of their obsession with each other. Love the aliens yearning for her but would have loved for it to be explained to get a sense of how much and how long he's waited for her as he said. Overall, I'd say a 7/10, it was a fun and quick read.

The pace, the characters, the interactions were great. 5/5 stars and definitely gonna check out the author's other works.
