Publisher's Summary

Shimon was a shepherd boy when he first saw the newborn King in a Bethlehem stable. Join him in his journey as he re-encounters the Lamb of God at the Jordan, and follows the Miracle Worker through the wilderness, the Messiah to the cross, and the Risen Savior from the upper room. Though Shimon is a fictional character, we’ll hear the audio of the Gospels unfold through his eyes, and experience a story of redemption - the redemption of a shepherd - and the redemption of each one who chooses to follow the Good Shepherd.

Great book!

What I love about this book is that the Bible not only comes to life but Biblical truth is explained through the dialogue and thoughts of the character. It’s a great story with so much practical truth embedded into the story line. Highly recommend!

Glad I used a credit

I would describe this biblically based fiction by saying it goes through the most interesting stories of the New Testament with a “fly on the wall” prospective. The fictional characters explain their thoughts & feelings as the New Testament unfolds. The Shepherd is much like a fly on the wall following Jesus and the disciples. The Shepard saw it all. Honestly I feel this book is brilliant!
