The purpose of this book is to guide you on the Ignatian contemplation form of prayer by bringing to life some of the stories in Jesus to life.

Fourteen stories from the gospels have been selected to meditate on and are presented in chronological order. Also, Bible verses from other Old and New Testament books have been included that may relate to the story and enrich the text with the written word of God.

After contemplating the gospels, Saint Ignatius suggests that we have a conversation with Jesus based on what we have experienced and the thoughts and emotions the stories may have stirred in us, called colloquy. You can do so after reading or listening to each story. Also, you can pause at any time for personal reflection.

The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ

The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ was only that, astonishing! Having shown Sunday School for a long time I have thoroughly understood the existence of Jesus for quite a long time. This investigation opened my eyes and my heart to significant certainties that are missed without inside and out examination. The ones who present each segment are educated, drawing in, and moving. I strongly suggest "The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ".

What an amazing book!

I did some of this kind of deep contemplation when I was in college, but I didn't keep the practice up and I lost the nuances of how to pick apart the Scripture. So, I sought this out to guide me along the way - and that's exactly what it did. Such a fantastic use of time. Four hours well spent. Excellent narration as well. Recommend!!
