Publisher's Summary

Three means war.

Three sides vying for forever.

Cole.

My first love.

The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.

Trace.

My second chance.

Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.

Me.

The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight.

I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering.

What options do I have left?

I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.

Well... I shouldn't be surprised by this ending and if I'm being honest I would say that it ended the way I was leaning towards. Although I will say I had hoped for some awesome way for it to all work out. I don't like love triangles for this reason, I always want everyone to win in the end. This book was pretty hot too. In the end I was happy with the turn out and love the friendship so much!

Stunning

I never write reviews, because time really is money. But I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on this series. I may be a cold-hearted B****, but I never truly cry over books. Even when I see reviewers mention how emotional this or that book was. I wasn’t even looking for a tear-jerker, because why do I want to experience pain in my leisure time when, like most, I have so many real things to cry about. (You hear a “but” coming on, don’t you). However (haha), this series caught me by surprise in the best way. And, yes, I had to use at least a few tissues. Don’t. tell. anyone!
It wasn’t a sob fest the whole way through. There were very hot moments, poignant moments, very witty moments. I listened to the whole series in a day and a half. The 2nd book is definitely setting you up for the third but it’s an obligation you just have to trudge through even though you want to strangle Danni for the whole of it. I loved Bree’s wicked little girl - I don’t know what purpose that served but she was amazing. She gives some of the best one liners I’ve heard in awhile. And the narrator voices her perfectly. It’s worth the three books and your time.

Right choice?

I really didn't connect to much with this series. it reminds me of how women choose the bad boys and not the ones that are thoughtful and loving. I didn't connect with the choice from the beginning and didn't understand what was so compelling about him.

Love Pam Godwin But!

This book was isn't her best.
I feel like a little ot of what happened was unnecessary but I get it.
And Narrators voice annoyed the hell out of me at times.
Like Cole was saying he wanted her and couldn't live without her etc etc and I get it but thennthat happened in the end. UGH!
But Pam Godwin always has me enraptured with her books.
I love all of her other books and series.
I want more of Pams books!!

Complex Love Triangle to the Very End

Three is a War is the conclusion to the Tangled Lies series, and Pam Godwin knows how to tug at your emotions with this compelling and complex love triangle. Clearly by now the reader has their favorite guy of who they want Danni to end up with, and believe me whoever you think it might be, hold on to your seat because it will be a rollercoaster of angst and frustration, love and defeat. In the end, the heart knows what it wants and “love is not a choice.” As much as I was thrilled that my choice of guy was Danni’s happily ever after, I still felt the devastation and loss that Danni felt because she had to let go of another. The narrator Lisa Zimmerman did a fantastic job with capturing the personalities and emotions of the characters.

Third time wasn't a charm

Book 1 was a joy, Book 2 was a chore, sadly Book 3 continued the downward spiral. I had hoped for a rebound but it was not to be.

Drugged, kidnapped, held captive, choked when she didn't fall in line with what the men she loved wanted I still couldn't muster any empathy for Danny. Her captors (tormentors?) love her because of her spirit but she falls meekly at their feet when they punish her for not trusting them after years of them lying, spying, deceiving, breaking promises and not trusting her. It was when, after all the abuse they had heaped on her, she concluded that she 'deserved' punishment for not trusting them, that I gave up. Sorry Audible, I'm returning this one.

I have book hangover

I’m normally not into love triangle books but after listening to another book by this author I knew it was worth a try. The narrator was new to me and I was pleasantly surprised. She did a great job. I don’t even know what say about the story other than I’m a wreck and I have a book hangover. I have already recommended this series to friends because it was good. I loved the characters and hated them at times too in this crazy journey. Going in I thought I had this story figured out. Nope, every time I thought I knew something the author hit me with the unexpected. Pam is amazing at creating characters that are multi demential and getting you so invested in the story. Hope the author continues to have her books done in audio because she is a one click author for me.

Fantastic

I cried! Even though I knew going in who she chose. I put off finishing this series for a long time as love triangles aren’t my thing (I’m a wuss); but I absolutely loved it! It’s an emotional and angst ridden ride that I’m so happy I finally read/listened to it. Great narrator!

The Loved Dancer!

Romantic, Sexy story of a Forever love between three people. Narrator is excellent, giving life to the three complete stories with each character.
