The Narration

So I purchased the box set and I really wish I would have listened to the preview I read the preview I liked the cover. The Narration is awful, listening to romance series narrated by a voice of older woman was bad and the male character is basically listening to female character if your distracted you have no idea who part is it.

I love Abigal Raines and her shifter romance!

I read the preview chapters of this series and had it on my wish list for awhile before the complete series became available on Audible. While I loved the preview chapters, I was disappointed in the narration. In fact it bothered me so much I almost gave up listening and vowed to go back to print only. In the first 2 books the narrator tried to change her voice to be different for male characters and female but only managed to sound hoarse like a long time smoker! The narration gets better in books 3 and 4 but the sex scenes lose some of their steam when the narrator tries for breathless and aroused but comes off as just trying to speed through to the next part. The last 2 books the narrator sounds like a teenage girl. Fortunately, Abigal Raines story is so good it overrides the negative! She has excellent characters and makes Quinton, Washington, come alive in the readers mind. Her plots are attention grabbing and the love scenes are yummy! I may go back to print after this but this audible version kept me entertained when reading was impossible. Check it out for yourselves...let me know what you think!

neither good nor bad

the story is good. the voice actor could've been better...its really monotone with little to no feelings or in some parts even the wrong reaction...it literally sounds like a long monolog being read at an awkward fast pace.

Good read

I was for the most part very happy with the first 3 books they we're pretty good reads full of everything that the heart desired!!

Fun stories

The stories were fun to listen to, but the narration of especially the first two was hard to hear. If you didn't pay extreme close attention you didn't know what character was talking. Was happy the narration changed in the latter books.
