No matter which way you look at Edison, from failed businessman, renowned inventor, distant father to his children, to an argumentative scientist, there is one thing everyone can agree on: Thomas Edison was pure genius. After all, in his world, nothing less would do.

Easy to listen to

… except the part when the reader said mediums… hmmm. I think this was written by AI or an alien. But hey, that’s ok. It was short and hit the highlights (I think. I’ll have to read/listen to another book about Edison to get a better, fuller picture of him… one highlight missed was his plan to make affordable housing by pouring concrete. You can read about that in another book… that I think was also worn by AI… The History of Concrete. Which is absolutely fascinating… but also misses some super interesting details… which I’ll mention in my review of that book once I’ve finished)…

If you want a quick cliff notes version on Edison, that I assume is mostly factual… this is a great listen. I do listen to books at 1.5x speed… and the reader seemed to do a great job… except for saying “mediums”… which I’m guessing is what he saw in print.
