Publisher's summary

Twenty-six-year-old Rose Devlin may shop in the plus-size department, but she's never had a problem attracting men - with disastrous consequences. Recovering from her latest mistake, Rose has sworn off casual sex and moved to California to grow up, help her best friend, and make something of herself.

When Rose asks the cute-but-geeky guy next door to help her land a job in high tech, she never expects to unearth his quiet strength, stunning accomplishments - and hidden talents. With a secret in her own past, Rose tries to keep her distance, but she finds that nerdy Mark isn't so nerdy when the lights go out.

And that maybe, just maybe, she's not too grown up to risk one more disaster...

Humorous Read

This was a delightful read, I laughed out loud and cheered the couple on to victory.

Great read with great characters

This was a great read. Not sure why the author titled the book this way. Anyway, I absolutely love the characters and the growth they make from the beginning to the end of the story. The author does a good job expressing the situation from different points of view. I love how the main character is not your typical skinny beautiful girl, but a realistic female who had her own opinion and I like the fact that the main leading man is not drop dead gorgeous but is still sexy none the less. I have read and re-read this book so many times that I know it by heart. I definitely recommend this book.

Love this series! Nerds rule!

I have a special place in my heart for geeky heroes and plus sized heroines and this book fit both bills. I loved Mark and his shyness and smarts and his awkwardness around the opposite sex. I loved Rose's humor and outgoing nature and how they complimented each other so well. The chemistry and between them was outstanding and the sexy naked fun time. There was some bumps in their road and misunderstandings but over all I really enjoyed how these two interacted with each other. I also enjoyed the rest of the cast of characters in this book and can't wait to listen to more in this series. Tanya Eby did a great job as well.

No no no

Save yourself. With the exception of Rose, the main female character this book is filled with lying manipulative misogynistic narcissistic humans. Her BFF and her ex are now together and expect her not only to be happy and supportive of their relationship, but blame her as she was just a “good time girl”, Mark, the male MC was a stunted immature man child living with his mommy and lying with every single breath he took. Leaves me to wonder if the author has any respect for women. I normally love a good HEA, but wanted Rose to run. Run fast and run far. Save yourself unless you want to read about a woman getting rescued the the very person/people who caused all the problems.

Definitely geared for a younger person

This is definitely geared for a younger person in their 20’s – 30’s. The sex scenes were tooooo much.

Not so happy

I didn't like the narration.
The hero annd heroine seem like two teenagers raging with hormones, not two grownups, who should think rationally and discuss their problems.
I didn't feel "the love", for one second. There was a lot of lust, but not love.
I'm quite dissapointed. I gave the book two stars because I was able to finsh it.
