Need a male narrator

Where does Their Virgin's Secret rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I listen to a great many audio books and on a scale of 1-10 this would rank about a 4 1/2 only because the narrator just didn't pull you into the story. When reading the heroes lines, it sounded very corny at times. This narrator would be great for a book that is written from a female character's point of view, but definitely not a male's- especially an alpha male.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cole, because he is the lost one until he meets Jessa.

How could the performance have been better?

A male narrator! There are a lot of great ones out there and I really wished one had been used.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I had an extreme reaction- disappointment! I liked the story, just not the way it was delivered. I like Shayla Black's books but this one could have been narrated so much better.

Any additional comments?

Please use a male narrator for any other books that have strong male characters. Serena Daniels is a good narrator but I think she'd be better sticking to just female characters. I listened to this book before the 1st book in the series and now I'm not so sure I want to buy and listen to the 1st book since it is narrated by the same person.

Hot and Steamy!

This was a fantasy reading for me. Great narrative loved the storyline between the brothers falling in love with one female woman Jessica . They shared everything! Would like a follow up on their married life . Good reading

I love the collaboration between these two authors. Their stories are always an amazing balance between heartfelt and hot, hot, hot. 💝 🔥
This book has some decent suspense to move
It along, and a betrayal of trust the characters have to overcome.

This was one of Shayla & Lexi’s first collaborations, at a time when RH fiction was considered pretty taboo. I applaud the writers for their confidence and bravery.

This is a single narrator book, because it’s written in third person. If this upsets you, please do not rate the authors unfairly because you weren’t paying attention to the publication date when you bought this audiobook. The book was published in 2011, and the audiobook was produced in 2013. Dual POV was not a thing then. All the audiobooks produced in that era were single narrator, and this narrator did a fabulous job.

I absolutely loved this story it was every girls fantasy! it's a must read! this author is one of the best hands down.

Jessa, Burke & Cole

Jessa had a perfect week with Burke and Cole - only to be left alone and standing up for herself. A yr. and many misunderstandings and misleadings later the two of them come to the rescue from a threat neither of them could have ever seen coming. Their past catching up with them - having her in the crosshairs. A sweet and well written story I very much enjoyed.
