Two season tickets. One genius idea. Zero interest in a relationship.
The plan is simple: a brand-new, hot, preferably funny, definitely single male will fill one of those seats for every Bears game at Soldier Field. And I'll fill the other.
I can't think of a better way to use the season passes I'd bought for my ex-husband. I am a woman of plans, and this one's foolproof. Until Zach Bowen offers to be my practice round.
He's infuriating. Presumptuous and overbearing. And absolutely, undeniably gorgeous. Any woman with a heartbeat would be attracted to him, and mine picks up speed every time he speaks. But as I said, I'm a woman of plans - and I'm not backing down on this one.
One night. One game. And then, his time's up. He can try to change the rules, but here's the truth: He can't win if he's playing the wrong game.
Contains mature themes.

The audiobook performance was fantastic and was done in dual POV.
This story had heartache and heartbreak and so much hope and love! This is about getting another chance in life. Finding your soulmate. Learning to trust and love again.
We all need a Zack in our lives. We all need someone who will fight for us.

The main reason for the ⭐ deduction is because 1) as mentioned, I wished there was more mention of therapy as several characters would benefit from it after struggling with extremely emotional and tragic events, and 2) at the end, the MFC tries to run from her feelings instead of dealing with them. This results in a 3rd act breakup. The MFC makes one attempt in the entire book to truly apologize to the MMC and win him back despite constantly being the one to push him away. It's the MMC who fights for the relationship throughout. But even after her small attempt at apologizing, it's still the MMC who does the grand gesture and for some reason, apologizes. I love the MMC and his emotional intelligence. He's caring, honest, and willing to fight for love. I really like his grand gesture, it really felt true to his character. I just wish he didn't apologize since he didn't do anything wrong. Too often romance novels have the MMC making the grand gesture, apologizing, and single-handedly fighting for the relationship, even when they were not the one at fault. A relationship is a partnership and both people should admit when they are wrong and try to make it up. Deapite this, I still really enjoyed this story. The issues are more of a pet peeve.
Lovely writing, characters you love and hate
