Has some lower ends I didn't see coming but had a happy ending to make up for it. Don't hate the narrators. Alex Kydd is one of my favorites and him slowed down seems purposeful for this character.

this was different than I had expected an interesting twist on a common trope but I did enjoy how the story and relationship developed, there were a few confusing transitions with timing but overall I enjoyed this story and the narration was great.

the story line was so good.. I thought it was going to end in a sad way. I'm so glad it ended great

I thought I had this story pegged when it began based on the synopsis and how most others go but this was surprisingly different. The characters were all likeable and if anything, I wish the book was longer so we could have more of them all! There was a lot of emotional angst but it was apt, not ridiculous as I’ve become accustomed to!
This was such a unique read, I’m so glad I found it and I’ll definitely visit this author again.
